It's a rainy night here, but we went out for dinner..I'm happy to be back home now.. I forgot to record the first episode of the new Endeavour series last week, so just catching up on IView now.. then  I can watch tonight's episode.

Good morning everyone,

Had the split system installed on Sunday it works well and heats much better than my old gas heater but I do miss sitting sitting in front of it and so does Oscar who doesn`t know where to sit or lay to get warm now, he is quite put out!!lol 

Deb I agree with you regarding the Hawthorn captains pinching he has been reported and his case is tonight.I just wonder how long he will be their captain for..definately not something a captain should do nor any footy player should do.

Got myself a new phone yesterday it looks like I am going to spend days trying to work it all out..not very savvy with technology I`m afraid.

Joined an over 60`s group of ladies and this morning it`s a morning tea and then lunch catchup.

it'll be interesting to see what the tribunal makes of that pinching.. the foot stomping he shouldn't've done either...  a player like that shouldn't be captain imo

Nics, it will take you a while to acclimatise to your new heating but at least you will be warm whilst you get used to it.  Oscar will find the perfect spot - they always do.

Wasn't that pinching disgusting - he should be immediately demoted from his captaincy as a minimum punishment and, coupled with the stomping, the AFL should step up and sanction him also.  It is just not good enough to let that sort of behaviour go unpunished.

Great news about the FED Cup finals being played in Perth - particularly having lost the Hopman Cup.  I know you many not be as fanatical about the tennis as I am (and Prim of course) but we are really excited about this latest news.

I am laughing at the t'othersider state of origin THUGBY coming over west for their next match.  They are obviously trying to get a foot in the door here and WA is not going to knock back the opportunity to attract t'othersiders here for financial benefits but I very much doubt it will become a dominant 'sport' here in the west. Gosh - even the RUGBY is losing ground!

Banned for two matches at the Tribunal. Nothing from the club though ......... he is NOT captain material given his actions and should be demoted

his career might be short-lived if he keeps up that behaviour Laney

it looked as though he thought the umpires wouldn't notice his pinching.. but he wanted them to notice the other players reaction to it

Got to hand it to my Cats how come they lose after a bye? for the past 8 years this is what happens..oh well I hope it`s not the start of a downhill..just  been listening to the tv and they are talking about those guys that were spitting at spectators..brings back a horrible memory for me. As a Geelong cheer squad member we  were all walking around under the grandstand  when some moron decided to spit from above and you guessed it..it landed on top of my head!!So this behaviour isn`t something new.
