not long to go now Kopes... it was strange having that bye week last week-end... unfortunately Dad is in hospital atm. but we're hopeful he'll be home on Sat. night to watch the Tigers match... he has a telly in there just in case,
I'm sure you'll be enjoying your trip away right now Laney . The wildflowers must be lovely to see

She is lovely Freddy.
Much prettier than our psychotic bird Indie.
This is the second lot of mats this year.
She spends hours pulling out the threads.
Last time I vacuumed I accidently made a litle tunnel when I cleaned up her mess.
And of course she loved it.
Now she spends most of the day in there.
This mat is under out kitchen table............so now we have to eat int he lounge most nights.
She bites us when we try to put her in the cage so we can eat.
Sorry the picture is a bit blurry...............but I had to take it before she saw me.
You can see all the bits of mat she has managed to pull out since this morning.

Lol Flashie Indie looks like she's head of the pecking
order and boss of her little cave hehe.

She sure is..............I am hoping this behaviour is only breeding season behaviour.
She is actually our sons bird.
He left her with us when he moved out.
He has 2 small children............so Indie is not a good match for him at the moment.
No problems............they only live for 30 years..............(she is 2+1/2...........

I wonder how many mats she can get through in

Good afternoon Friends ![]()
How lovely to return to pics of Bonnie Freddie. She is a real charmer. Saw two chocolate labradoodles yesterday and was momentarily tempted although I am not really in favour of designer breeds - from a breeder in Qld - until I saw the price
$3000 each plus transportation! Reviewed our commitment not to replace Lucy (that would be impossible anyway) and the impact that would have on our peregrinations and decided NO. So keep up the pics Freddie to assuage my missing my girl.
Flashie, Freddie said that your Indie was head of the pecking order and she got that right. What a funny feathered friend Indie is - looks like a real demolition 'derbier'
What a week: wonderful wildflowers, footy, cricket, vollie work, tennis (go Ash in the US Open doubles final) - it has been a pretty happy and enjoyable one anyway.
No particular comments about the footy except for the refusal of the revolting Pies NOT to have an away strip. What is the matter with the AFL that they bow to the arrogance of Eddie?
The cricket? Great to see Steve back .... tonight will be interesting. Fingers crossed the rain holds off and we get a win and bring the ersatz Ashes home ![]()
Deb I am so sorry to read that your Dad is having a spell in hospital
I know how close your Mum and Dad are and she must be feeling his absence although I am sure you and yours are keeping a close eye on her. Here's to a speedy recovery for him.
Enjoy whatever mischief you are all up to - will catch up again over the weekend sometime.
