Round Table Revisited

And so Lord of the String said unto the peoples, "Go forth anew. Seek a land you can call your own."

The people saw it was good.

So, on the last day the people said their solemn goodbyes and began the long journey to the promised new land.

And so began the new land and its people were joyous!

Welcome, to the Return of the Round Table known as...

"Round Table Revisited" (RTR)

Hi laney,

Mum back in hospital.

Lower ab pains and suddenly couldn't use right leg.

Surgeon came in and wasn't happy with drain bag. Infection again.

Next day and they want to move her to urinary hospital but I pointed out to nurses perhaps empty insuti drain bag and have tested.

Well no one had thought of that and Urinary specialist didn't know there was such a device attached apart from catherter.

It's not the first time I have had to check on procedures or medication. So now move is postponed thank goodness.

I realize staff have a heavy load and things get left out.

In fact what I have seen in the last 2 months at Monash Clayton, I am very impressed considering it's a training hospital with young staff. The carp they put up with from patience, the load and analysis they need to perform as well as language barriers.

My hat goes off to them. Nearly all of them very nice also.

Waiting on results.

Hope things are well in the west. Smiley Happy

Kopes. Your mum's situation is very similar to my Dad's... he got through his surgery Ok and couldn't drive for a few weeks, so we were quite busy running them around...he had a bit of a scare in hospital..because they didn't put a drainage bag on after surgery and he was really unwell.  luckily my sister was at hand and demanded that the nursing staff get a doctor to him.

..he goes back in next week for testing to see if the procedure worked

i hope all goes well for your mum

She is gorgeous freddie.. we once had a blue healer named Jedda, who hated blue-tongues..she used to just bail them up for awhile and bark at them..She thought her tail was a blue tounge and used to run around in circles barking at her tail and trying to bite it 😃
