Round Table Revisited

And so Lord of the String said unto the peoples, "Go forth anew. Seek a land you can call your own."

The people saw it was good.

So, on the last day the people said their solemn goodbyes and began the long journey to the promised new land.

And so began the new land and its people were joyous!

Welcome, to the Return of the Round Table known as...

"Round Table Revisited" (RTR)

Re: Round Table Revisited

I'll be mostly staying indoors today Nic.. it's way too hot...  storms later and we never really know what to expect anymore. our place is still covered in that orange mud from the last downpour

the last one to reach kinder is a milestone and makes you realize how time flies

Re: Round Table Revisited

It is suppose to get to 40 degrees here in Tasmania today...................second time this summer.

I can remember that happening before ever.

And...............hubby has to work outside all day...............I was hoping 40 here was knock off time.

Our eldest grand daughter starts year 11 this year.............(when did that happen)

Re: Round Table Revisited

here... al the tradies knock off at 40 degrees or if the air quality is at poor levels

maybe because those kind of temps are unprecedented in tassie Flashie, they haven't got anything in place for it

Re: Round Table Revisited

We were suppose to get the outside of our house painted this week.

Our painter soon rebooked the job when we saw we were having 3 hot days in a row......(today being 40)

I hope hubby gets at least to work in the shade.

I plan on doing some sewing today for our new little grand daughter who will be with us in a few weeks.

Our daughter has bought a bigger than average basinette..........so standard linen doesnt fit it.

No way am I going outside.............(unless I have to)

Re: Round Table Revisited

we'd just decided to go for a walk at about 12.30am when we got a short muddy downpour after a gusty southerly

wind.... but that was it...  Nic, it still feels so hot as it's so humid.  the radar charts don't look too promising...  I hope we don't miss it all

looking foreward to feeling a bit cooler

It's hard to know what the w4eather's going to do.. I hope you get through the birthday party OK... are there pavilions there so you can get under cover if it does rain?
