Round Table Revisited

And so Lord of the String said unto the peoples, "Go forth anew. Seek a land you can call your own."

The people saw it was good.

So, on the last day the people said their solemn goodbyes and began the long journey to the promised new land.

And so began the new land and its people were joyous!

Welcome, to the Return of the Round Table known as...

"Round Table Revisited" (RTR)

Re: Round Table Revisited

Nics - I hope everything is OK with you - have not seen you around for a while.  The same for Kopes!!!!

~~~~~to you both~~~~~
Both our teams had good wins yesterday Nics - good fortune to your boys today Kopes.
Thoroughly enjoying the Giro - the scenery is so beautiful and reminiscent of the years I spent living there 😊
Talk again soon.....
~~~~~ to Stringer friends~~~~~

Re: Round Table Revisited

Good morning to you Laney & Kopes. Nice sunny day over here but a bit on the cold side. Yes Geelong had s great win but was horribly crushed by the tragic death of another Selwood 😞 His poor family and friends. May he R.I.P

Re: Round Table Revisited

Good to see you Nics

Wasn't that news horrendous 💔

One cannot help wondering whether the 'twinship' had anything to do with both of them taking those hideous 'escape-routes' leaving their families and their children in that way !  Our hearts go out to their families and friends ......

It is happening all too often and it raises the question of what the AFL is doing to investigate and resolve the life-ending issues which result.

Re: Round Table Revisited

An embarrassment of riches at the moment with the last week of the Giro d'Italia and the start of the French Open.

A wonderful farewell to Rafa on Roland-Garros - the site of his 14 wins there!  Brought a few tears to the eyes, also seeing Roger back on the court in the ceremony!

The AFL has taken second place but our Dockers did have a welcome win over the weekend - as did your Cats Nics.  Feel so sorry for you Kopes - it is just not your Tigers year 😞

Anyway, catch up again soon friends ~~~~~

Re: Round Table Revisited

Hi all.

Shaky start, then a good win to freo.

I’m not upset with tigers, we had a good run and maybe in a few years, it will be time again.
Stay warm and happy footy everyone.

Hi Kopes

Great to see your post when I logged in this morning  😊

I have been otherwise occupied and have not been here often - Giro d'Italia,  the French Open, soon the Tour de France AND Wimbledon - an embarrassment of riches!

To top it off, our Dockers are back up in the top 8 - for how long who knows but it is fun to support them.

Understand what you are saying about your Tigers - we have lived with that for years and when you come to think of it - it is only a game.  There is so much more to be concerned about in the world these days.

I laughed when I saw the nude swim for the Dark MOFO in Hobart to celebrate the solstice - getting too old for that these days 😏

Keep warm and well Kopes and don't leave it so long before you pop back here 😃
