Hi Kopes
It sure has been while!
Life this past twelve months has been 'difficult' involving an interstate move but it has been eclipsed by this past month for things not for publication here.
Anyway, lets hold all our community friends here (and friends no longer here) in our hearts and wish for a peaceful and happy Christmas and may 2026 been everything we all wish for and more.
❤️😍😊

True Blue echoes so many thoughts for many of us at this very, very sad time.
My old stamping ground but I expect it is all our stamping grounds in reality - sincere thoughts of all my old school friends and friends everywhere throughout the world 😭

Merry Christmas to you too mtnlane.
Just had air conditioning installed and it's been the first cool Christmas in many years.
Go Australia in the cricket and I hope the wicket isn't good for spinners.

You must be really loving the air conditioning - not sure where you are but I am happy for your improved comfort.
All the best of good health and happiness for 2026 🤞

Thanks lane. Happy new year to everyone on ebay. 🙂
Watched a documentary on the disgraceful behaviour of the ebay security team from some time ago.
I was shocked to see such shenanigans was even possible.
I still remember ebay as being the fun auction site it used to be being able to win bargains for a few dollars or less.
Now that ebay is too big for its boots, maybe another auction site will happen with less greed and more about fulfilling a market need.

I still read her blogs, and often quote them on the boards…..she ain’t giving up!
What surprised me about San Jose, was the structure of their departments (almost tin-pot)….seems everything’s a facade.
For anyone that missed it, here’s where you can watch:
