eight beds???
He does sound very spoilt Karen ๐ฎ

It's really spoilt. Each bed has a special snuggle blanket and toy... then there's a tub funk of toys, ceramic bowls for food and a freezer full home cooked gourmet meals lol
But it has a nice personality, most of the time... except in the wee hours when it steals blankets.
i think they're coming home tomorrow and I'm looking forward to going to my house and seeing how my tomatoes faired.

what's a 'tub funk' ?
oh I know, it's a weird auto correction ๐

I'll bet you're looking forward to getting back home
It's very nice of you to 'house sit'/puppy sit" for someone. I'm glad you have an iPad now though. The iPad saved us all from having to go through that very boring Spanish Inquisition again

Good morning stringpeeps ๐
I pulled my madonna lily in off the balcony this morning with the hot temperatures forecast for today and over the weekend.
I feel sorry for all you Viccies and Saussies, with temperatures in the high 40's and all our Waussies must feel relieved that the heatwave has moved on.

Good idea Icy,
all my roses have just opened and wilted here. It's hot but not too bad yet. If we get the accompanying hot northerly that was forecast it will be a real fire danger day.
"Saussies" :^O I like that one, must remember to use that in future

Morning everyone ๐
I was going to say yes it won't be good if we do get that northerly ๐ I get a bit nervous on days like today and what is coming after past experience.
Well mini has to have her cast on for two more weeks as it is showing evidence of healing but not enough to take the cast off.

We have a huge 'madonna Lily' type plant in a very large urn on our front verandah. It is very burnt from the last lot of hot days we had but it is too large to bring inside so I expect next week it will get a little browner ๐
Our roses don't seem to burn in the heat but they are a very old type so maybe they are able to withstand the hot sun?

morning Ivy.
I think we all get a bit nervous in that type of weather, there is so much growth and everything is already so dry this year.
aww poor little mini, she must be getting so sick of it all

It was an autocorrect Deb... how can full turn into funk? Silly thing!
You will all have to follow my keep-cool ideas from me living in places where it's 40+ all summer. Wet sarong over your head and walk through the shower every hour or two ๐
take pics :^O
