Round Table Revisited

And so Lord of the String said unto the peoples, "Go forth anew. Seek a land you can call your own."

The people saw it was good.

So, on the last day the people said their solemn goodbyes and began the long journey to the promised new land.

And so began the new land and its people were joyous!

Welcome, to the Return of the Round Table known as...

"Round Table Revisited" (RTR)

Re: Round Table Revisited

Joono, do you have any aloe vera? If so, gently smear that on the bite.

If you remember I had a spider bite a while back. My doctor actually prescribed antibiotics for some reason (I think because the area started to blister) as well as antihistimines. It took quite a few days to stop itching/burning. Good luck with it.

I hope your op shop items fetch you a profit Icy 🙂

Re: Round Table Revisited

one of our IT guys got bitten by a redback, but his boyish bravado made him keep working to impress us with his superior networking skills 😄 ,,,, until he started stumbling and breathing funnily :^O

I thought I got bitten by a redback once, on the back of my neck. I felt the bite and reached up and pulled the thing off my neck and flung it away. It felt smooth and blobby like I imagined a redback might feel and I had just seen a nest of them near my garden furniture. So logical...not.

I was looking after my kids and two others. Thought about driving to the Dr and then thought that was dumb in case I went unconscious and killed us all. I called the ambos. Told the kids whoever found what bit me got $20. Ambos said I would live and redback bites don't kill most people.

I should've just called the mother of the visiting kids. She IS a Dr. Anyway, it was a bee. I found it stumbling about on the windowsill. I got the $20. WINNER!  ;\

I'm still here.  I have got an aloe vera plant Prim.  I can't seem to kill that one.  I never go near it and it's in a pot and under shelter so it hardly ever gets any water and yet it looks happy and healthy.

Re: Round Table Revisited

Hi Buzz,

I really hate spiders, once i nearly had an accident because there was a big huntsman on the windscreen.

I bet I'm not the only person to do that though

I'm glad it was a bee instead, but I bet it hurt

You will be getting some very bright colourful sunsets for a while now Flashie after the fires.

I also ended up in the wrong lane once Deb on the Tonkin Hwy.  A huntsman suddenly appeared on the side window next to me and it was just a moment before I noticed that it was quivering in the wind.  It was on the outside hanging on for dear life.

we've spent the last 4 hours doing some paperwork we needed to do, and I'm just taking a short break, but I'd better get back to it or it won't get done
