chokos????? yuk - tasteless things!!
You could put some of your chillies on them - at least that would give them some taste - the taste of chillies :^O
We put out excess lemons, mandarins and oranges on our verge. I hate to see them go to waste and am glad for people to help themselves.
It must be a phobia intentionally acquired for some obscure reason Karen :^O

I love chokoes, Karen.
I just take the peel off 'em and deseed them, cut them into quarters and steam 'em it doesn't take long. Then just with salt and pepper. Some people like a bit of butter on 'em.
I just like them plain they have very delicate flavour easily overpowered if too much other stuff is added.
They leave a funny sticky residue on your hands when you prepare them.

No wonder FB seems to be so popular - the perfect venue for them by the sound of it!!

I am taking my zucchini down to the local Community Centre tomorrow............................I swear if you stand there you can see them grow.
Over the few days we had nasty weather and total fire bans we did not turn on the watering system to the vegie garden.
I decided to go out and see what had survived.............the cauliflower and celery were dead...............beans and tomato a bit wilted.
But the zucchini was covered in flowers...........and about 4 new ones had grown.:O

I would say a very delicate flavour Icy ๐
salt, pepper and butter is the way I had them from memory, but I had them at a friend's place and she cooked them,
Karen should give them a go though

If I had any growing Icy - you would be welcome to my share and then some :^O
....and green peas too lol.
That was one of the best things about reaching 'adulthood' ....... being able to refuse to eat them ]:)
