Round Table Revisited

And so Lord of the String said unto the peoples, "Go forth anew. Seek a land you can call your own."

The people saw it was good.

So, on the last day the people said their solemn goodbyes and began the long journey to the promised new land.

And so began the new land and its people were joyous!

Welcome, to the Return of the Round Table known as...

"Round Table Revisited" (RTR)

Re: Round Table Revisited

Good evening Stringsters 🙂

Some things never cease to amaze me 😞

Nics, I hope so too. They caught 3 idiots in Sydney setting out to start fires on Tuesday...it beggars belief.

Icy, As far as I am aware the first soft serve ice cream was sold in Coles. In those days Coles was a variety store with long counters down each side and one in the middle. The right and left hand sides of every store had lollies to about half way down (the barley sugar twists was to die for) and on the right hand side near the door they had soft serve icecream.  It was to unbelievable. It was far far superior to that which is sold today. You could get it in a large cone or a tiny kiddy cone. That was about 62 years ago.

I had one from a van about 4 years ago when we went to look at Christmas lights and after one lick threw it away, it was like sucking on fat, disgusting!

Re: Round Table Revisited

Hi Stringers 🙂 I still dont have much news, because I've been at work then playing in the garden this afternoon. Yes, I watered my tomatoes... No, I did not watch the tennis, but I did listen with interest to tennis news about that young larrikin being kept out of the Davis Cup because he's not tough enough. Pat Rafter is a good leader and I think it's the right decision.

There is a kerfuffle going on in other threads. Apparently this thread is special and deserves mention as one nobody looks at, one that will be bumped and one that is like a hostel... where people must make a point of mentioning they are booking out and don't post here any more. Lucky they did, otherwise I may not have noticed lol
