Round Table Revisited

And so Lord of the String said unto the peoples, "Go forth anew. Seek a land you can call your own."

The people saw it was good.

So, on the last day the people said their solemn goodbyes and began the long journey to the promised new land.

And so began the new land and its people were joyous!

Welcome, to the Return of the Round Table known as...

"Round Table Revisited" (RTR)

Re: Round Table Revisited

Ours aren't really cuddly either. Schooner likes to sit on my lap -but only to establish her ownership lol. Bagheera will do the same sometimes but only to annoy Schooner. Schooner is becoming a bit more sooky in her dotage though. She is now 20.

Re: Round Table Revisited

Not bad, Laney, but the group president who has a very quiet and monotonous voice, insisted on entertaining us by reading Readers Digest jokes that everyone had heard before. It was a bit of a conversation killer IYKWIM.

Couldn't anyone slip him a Mickey Finn?

That might have livened up the conversation ]:)

As I was bending over the bath something itched my in the middle of my back.

I reached up to scratch............and touched something small.....I quickly squished it...............at the same time squealing because I thought I had killed a spider

Hubby comes running in thinking someone must at least be bleeding from all the noise I was making.

Hubby found it..............and started laughing.

My squishy spider was a piece of corn............my grand daughter had apparently dropped down the neck of my top when I was cuddling her.

Now they are making fun of me.................not fair.............*sooks*

Ha :^O

My spider bite made my leg swell up.  An area about the size of my palm.  On the third day I thought I should have listened to visiting the doctor advice, especially since the Sunday times article.

Apparently quite a few people were bitten by house spiders recently with the disgusting summer weather since Christmas.  House spider bites swell quite badly and itch for a few days but use something like Paraderm or some other anti inflammatory anti bacterial cream.

Re: Round Table Revisited

Morning Stringpeeps 🙂

Gawd it's hot here, and no aircon. I feel like going to work, lol.

I had so much planned this morning, hop on a bus after my morning walk and go to Chatswood maybe. Spend some of my gift vouchers. I need some new black heels and my wardrobe needs updating badly. I feel so old-fashioned. Been rotating the same old work outfits for years now.

But it's so hot.

It'll be airconditioned in the malls won't it?
