Well done Deb LOL
Mine are starting to get a little bigger now. They were ripening too soon when they were tiny but have slowed down.

Do you put straw around yours?
I do.............the left overs from the guinea pig cages.............mixed with poop.
This might sound like a silly question but.............how do I know when my chillies are ready to pick.
Hubby bought this poor neglected punnet of three chilly plants...........and planted them all thinking we would be lucky if any of them grew.............and of course they all have.
They are yellow chillies.

Youch Flashie. That's quite a nasty one! Luckily kids heal very quickly.
Tell her that her friends will be jealous.

I think we all need some guinea pigs. with my planters I used a lot of my home 'grown' compost from the Aerobin.
It worked well with the herbs too. There is a big book that is all about veggies, from planting to caring for and right up to recipes or ways to cook them. I really must get hold of one of them. I can't remember it's name but I will recognise it in the shops (or on ebay).
