I think Australia has quite strict laws about quarantining critters that pose a risk of rabies, but with budget cuts n all, well a few obviously slip through. I thought NZ was strict too, but it seems not.

Friend is a quarantine officer. Boy does she have some stories of weird imports.

I love spinach and ricotta, Deb. I used to make my own cheese, back in the days before my cooking gene got burned ... is it ricotta you make by draining yoghurt in a stocking? Lol. Sounds disgusting, but it was yum with fresh garden herbs. Ahhh I miss my vcool I g genes. That says cooking genes, thank you ipad.

Your dinner sounds yum too, Prim. It's like the classy version of my dinner :^O I was planning on adding salad but decided not to because I felt too lazy to open the packet and tip it on lol. After all, it is Tuesday.

I had to take control of the place and keep the thread alive

I think you need to appoint  a vice captain as you are 

often away on puppy minding duties , 

Perhaps I should start a poll thread 

for people to nominate a suitable vice captain

I remember this girl at school, Deb...she got caught pretending to have a boyfriend on Valentine's day because she posted herself a card and everyone recognised her handwriting :^O Poor girl. Pretendy holidays remind me of that girl, except I guess the main difference was she didn't do it to make others look bad. So she was obviously nicer 🙂
