Morning all,
Welcome back Laney, so good to see you,

Good morning Stringsters 🙂
We had a huge sleep in too. We were going to a market but given the weather forecast we cancelled. No traumatic rain yet but like Christmas, its coming.
Isa, you have a warm, open heart and mind. Without any other information but what you could read you have put 2 and 2 together and got 4. No rabid vengeful rabbiting on from you. I take my hat off to you.
When I see the hate being displayed on this forum it makes me wonder what the world is coming to. Especially when the 'haters' refuse to accept the blame for their history of wrongdoings.
Have a good day everyone.

Flashie, l'll find that link later today that I was talking about last night before my battery conked out

I'm on lunch break, sitting in the sun 🙂
Iza you're a sensible woman, you can see through the hysterics. It dumbfounds me how anyone could support something like that, but I suppose there are all types in this world.
There are ducks in this park and they're creeping up to me in hope of a crust lol.

Good morning (just) Stringers :^O
I had a meeting I was supposed to attend this afternoon but, given the forecast for bad storms here today, I had to cancel it. I promise it has nothing to do with an important match here this afternoon lol.
We had a rogue storm hit right overhead here the other night and it took out our modem! The noise it made was horrendous and we thought the house had also sustained damage! It was only the modem though ....., phew!
Thankfully a spare was at hand so was able to reconnect to continue the work I was doing as the deadline was staring down the line at me.
Have not had much time to read back yet so forgive me if I have ignored any comments - will catch up I am sure.

Ooh Laney, I'm glad it still works. I've had modems blown up by storms in the past... and in the middle of the night my computer exploded in sparks, but that was from nicotine damage the rude tech man said :^O
wow. 53 posts in one thread about something that has nothing to do with them.

Karen - it didn't work and that was what made the horrendous noise.
The Big T had sent us two modems so we fortunately had one in reserve.
I thought it was just heavy rain predicted - that will teach me not to check BOM. The electrical activity just HIT! Still, the rain with it would have been energised lol
Haha - I was thinking that earlier and most of them not worth the paper they were written on 😉
It reminded me of a thread a long time ago about bullying on the boards by a ummmmmmmmmm, how can I say it ....... another poster ;-);-);-)
Perhaps they should take a leaf out of their own notepad.

Karen
I know how you love pretty BOM pictures - check out the one now! I know how you love to watch it about to hit us here :^O

Perhaps it all burns down to the switching off trick :^O
You're lucky they gave you two modems, otherwise you might have to wait weeks. I mostly stick yo my ipad these days, except for work.

Oops that's a bit of a mixed metaphor... boils down to
