:^O talking dinosaurs? I am so out of touch with modern toys... but I was thinking of going to the toy sale tomorrow to check them out.

i remember my kid had a critter that talked... a furphy? Something like that. It talked and talked and talked, very a3ish lmao, so in the end, after weeks, I had to break it and act really sad when he found out lol. It's a shame the same cant be done to other non-stop talking creatures 😄

Furby's are making a come back................they more modern and dance now I think.....I still have one of our children's in the top of the hall cupboards.

Do you remember the tamagotchi craze...........I used to look after our daughters friends ones while they went to school.

GD was given a Baby Born which was meant to be fed some sort of much and a bottle, but DD didn't like the idea of the mess when it was fed and needed changing, so she never told GD that it was a feature of the doll.

She happily played with it without ever needing to change a nappy LOL

Haha Prim, that's funny! I'm surprised age didn't figure it out from her friends, they were very popular dolls.

Furby. That's right. Not furphy lol...and yes, Flashie, I do remember looking after various tamagotchis and getting in trouble when he arrived home from school because I'd forget to feed them.

Our eldest grand daughter loves the new Monster High Dolls.........and she likes those horrible living dead dolls, which I refuse to buy her.

I haven't had the pleasure of seeing the living dead dolls lol...I will look for them at the sales tomorrow

They are ugly dolls........and I do not see what our grand daughters fascination is for them.

I had great fun shopping for our youngest grand daughter..........she has this ugly dollie (bought from a second hand shop).....and she just adores it.................it is called "Baby".

So we have bought "Baby" her own wardrobe and high chair and port'a'cot............we also bought "Baby" a baby.........:^O.............I miss having a little girl around the house.

Aww I love buying toys for little kids 🙂 There are no little kids in my family now, they're all in late teens / early 20s, but I suppose in the next 5 yrs we might get one or two.

That is what I miss, toddlers and babies to babysit and buy gifts. It is a lot harder to shop when they are in their late teens.

That's true Prim, it's really hard... and it gets harder when they reach their 20s. Technology, tennis racquets and clothes is all he gets these days. Boring.
