Round Table Revisited

And so Lord of the String said unto the peoples, "Go forth anew. Seek a land you can call your own."

The people saw it was good.

So, on the last day the people said their solemn goodbyes and began the long journey to the promised new land.

And so began the new land and its people were joyous!

Welcome, to the Return of the Round Table known as...

"Round Table Revisited" (RTR)

I can't believe how fast that was.  Yesterday it was just a flower.

It is only about an inch long and I gather they grow quickly so I will be enjoying it soon ๐Ÿ™‚

Re: Round Table Revisited

Thanks, shiny - a timely reminder. I haven't caught up with my friends here for far too long.

Hi folks. Great to catch up on all the goss.

Joono,  here at the Elephant House we were also glued to the ABC last night. we have a visitor staying who is quite involved, politically, so she was able to give us quite a lot of interesting 'inside' information.

It was all very sad, but probably the best outcome for the party, given the hatchet job the media had managed to do on Gillard. I thought her speech was incredibly gracious and dignified - I don't think I could have managed anything half that good under those circumstances.

I only had one daughter and she was never into 'baby born' though she did have a cabbage patch doll.

a couple of my kids had Tamagotchis (spelling?) My god, they were evil little critters - though mind you, none of them ever managed to live live very long in our house.:^O

Hi She-ele :-x

we've been through all those things, those darn Tamagotchis  (not sure how to spell it either) were a real nuisance I reckon.

The Furbys were my favourite, I kept playing with those all the time  ๐Ÿ˜„ Now I wish I hadnt given them away

That's a lot of stir fry.

Re: Round Table Revisited

Speaking of stir fry reminds me I gotta have a little brag. i planned to do spaghetti and meatballs for dinner last night but then discovered I had  no jars of pasta sauce in the pantry. In tdesperation I threw together my own sauce: a tin of tomatoes, about a cupful of diced onion (instant out of the freezer) a big mushroom, a heaped tablespoon of tomato paste, a cup of chicken stock, a goodly slurp of red wine and some dried mixed herbs. I cooked the onion and  mushroom in a little  olive oil, added everything else and threw it all  in the slow cooker on high for three hours. it was absolutely DELICIOUS.

Oh, and we had it with pasta shells cos I didn't have any spaghetti either.:^O

Re: Round Table Revisited

That sound delicious SheEle and so much better than premade pasta sauce, though I do admit the premade stuff comes in handy at the end of a long day's work.
