Round Table Revisited

And so Lord of the String said unto the peoples, "Go forth anew. Seek a land you can call your own."

The people saw it was good.

So, on the last day the people said their solemn goodbyes and began the long journey to the promised new land.

And so began the new land and its people were joyous!

Welcome, to the Return of the Round Table known as...

"Round Table Revisited" (RTR)

Re: Round Table Revisited

Sounds delicious Prim.

Tomorrow I'm cooking ox tails ... I just have to try and not think of them being tails. If you've ever seen a cow's tail you'll know why eww lol

Re: Round Table Revisited

I have made a few ox tail soups in my time but not lately. How are you cooking yours?

Re: Round Table Revisited

I'm going to try my best to remember my mother's recipe... Toss in herbed flour, brown it, chuck in veggies stock and red wine, cook for ages. Does that sound right?

Re: Round Table Revisited

That sounds pretty good Karen.  Do you have a slow cooker?  I've never cooked oxtails so I can't really help.

Re: Round Table Revisited

Whoops,  you posted at the same time Joono.  I will keep taking deep breaths of my port aroma so my mind won't go to the smell of haddock 🙂 🙂

Re: Round Table Revisited

I don't have a slow cooker, Joono, but my stove has a hot plate that I can turn right down. Naturally, I do have a cauldron lolol

The hard part will be remembering to turn it right down low.

And that reminds me, my house owner popped in to do maintenance yesterday. Well, his old dad did. He installed the new smoke alarm I bought, then tried to fix the leaky tap and oven, but decided to call in the professionals after getting a face full of water haha

He's a really nice old bloke, but initially he didn't see the funny side of forgetting to turn off the water properly before removing the tap 🙂
