Joono, I made the Mandarin sauce tonight. We had it with pork. I put a lot more mandarin pieces in it than before. OH is still raving about it and we finished dinner an hour age LOL.
I have never had trouble going to my last read post. Sometimes that post is in the middle of the thread but it is still the last post read. I am not sure why everyone is having so much trouble.
There are a lot of threads being locked 🙂 and a lot of posts are suddenly missing. A few halos are slipping methinks 🙂 🙂

It's great isn't it Prim! I will be doing that one again soon because it was so easy. It would be great with some nice sliced pork fillets. Chicken too.
Did you chop the extra mandarin? I did but I think I would like to leave the segments whole next time and see how that looks.

Joono, I cut up the first two mandarins instead of juicing them and put them in with the other ingredients along with a strip of peel (minus the white pith). Once that had cooked down I mashed it with a potato masher to get all the juice out and poured it through a sieve. As I was serving up the meat and vegies I added the second lot of cut up pieces to the still cooking sauce and they softened just enough in those few moments to keep their flavour but not be too uncooked.
It really is so easy and tasty.
