Get a fitbit.  They are great and you don't have to reset them or anything.  They reset themselves at midnight and it all links to your computer or iPad so you have a record too.

I kind of wish that I had got the flex instead of the one.  The flex is a wristband and the one is a clip on like a normal pedometer.

I tried to get one, but they only work with an iPhone. Mine is gone. I'll have to get an old fashioned pedometer... I did own one previously, but I chucked it due to the silly thing showing how few steps I took lol

I'm really going for a walk to the bakery now, to buy cake lol. It's your fault 😄

I really enjoy my walking Joono, I hated being laid up over the weekend, but my my foot is fine now.

My good news for the day is that they've finally fixed my daughters exam results from fail to distinction. I still can't beleive they made such a huge mistake and it's taken ages for them to fix it. At last it is done

She is still at a disadvantage though because they have her listed as not enrolled in that subject due to the fail mark, and she can't access any online work. I wonder how long it will take them to fix that part.

I'm really please your foot is better Deb.  There is nothing worse than having to stay off your feet and not being able to get anything done.  

Congratulations to your daughter and thank goodness they finally fixed it!  That must have been so stressful for her.  Now they just need to pull their finger out and fix the other problem.

Joono I didn't get cake. The baker lady had her home made masaman (sp) curry on sale so I bought that instead.

So much to be pleased about ........ Dockers in the top four with a pretty good run to the finals!

Major work completed and delivered - that is where my weekend went 

Sam Stosur won a comp in her run to the U.S. Open

Have missed my friends here but have not missed the ever-present authoritarian attitudes which appear so prevalent around the traps - I have not read around yet but the saying about leopards and spots comes to mind.

More rain for the rest of the week - I guess I cannot expect to have it all my way lol

Other issues but if they are all I have to complain about, I am not doing too badly

Flashie you make me laugh.  The word pictures you draw when you describe the 'doings' of you family are so vivid!  Golf was something that I rarely played but I suspect I got more 'points' for air swings than tree-hitting lol

Prim I hope the week ahead is not too stressful.  I bet your OH was pleased with the results of his team yesterday!

Deb, glad your foot is better and that your DD has managed to get her results corrected at last.  It was a frustrating experience I know, so hope that her entry into the unit will not be further delayed as a result of their incompetence.

Karen and j*oono - our walking duo - with or without pedometers lol.  Either way, I hope you choose yummy cake rewards for your efforts.

I really am hanging out to get out in the garden now my major project has been completed but the rain seems to be largely putting paid to those plans except intermittently. It absolutely bucketed down here last night - now the sun is out - so better get on my bike and increase my dose of Vitamin D.

Iza - hope your DD is in full recovery mode now with no residual effects - have not read far enough back yet to find out sorry.

Just home from work. It was a busy day and I didn't get time to have lunch so OH is in the kitchen cooking a quick dinner for us. Yes, its appreciated 🙂

Glad that big job is done and dusted Laney, your wise words are missed when you are not here.

Speaking of words, I discovered a new one today. When I was asked if it was a word I said 'definitely not' and then went to my friend google where I was proved wrong. 

After I got up off the floor, I read up on why I was wrong and why that particular spelling was correct, which was interesting to me but it will be more interesting to a lot of companies who  presently misspell this word on their items 🙂
