Just picked the very last navel orange off the tree 😞
I was salivating as I was peeling it - does that happen to any of you?
Glad to say it is DELICIOUS so I was not disappointed.
Sad it is the last one for this season though - at least the last home grown one lol

Those quartered oranges always remind me of Saturday morning basketball on the school oval lol.
I did not enjoy them then, and don't now - there is something in the oil in the skin which makes my mouth sting.
That is why I peel them ![]()
Oh Karen - it sounds like you are going to be over-run by the tomato crop again this summer.

Good afternoon Stringsters 🙂
I guess you have to have a sense of humour to appreciate what posts should actually go in the chuckle store. I don't think Monny even meant it for trolling.
I am free....I am free....from work that is. Three blissful days of no phones and no talking if I can help it 🙂
Happy Birthday to the Flashie household. I love pink fairy cakes 🙂

Ahhhhh - the changing of the guard - Prim, you have three days free, I have three days at work!
Good on you though - it is about time .... ENJOY!
Some must have been standing behind the door when senses of humour were handed out Prim ![]()
Love your grandma's saying Karen - I can assure you though I was not travelling second class to woy woy ![]()
The Flashie household sure has some celebrating to do - Happy Birthday to the special people.

Good Afternoon/Evening Everyone ![]()
Hope that you are all as well and as happy as can be .
Thanks for the BD wishes Deb .A few coughs and sneezes didn't stop them from enjoying their day .
My dd had her follow up appointment at Paed outpatients yesterday (we received the appointment letter the day before..which was lucky it wasn't any later) .The paed told her that she is 'discharged from hospital now' (she looked confused about that and later asked what they meant ..."Mum they thought I stayed in hospital" ) and that she needs to be followed up outside the hospital and have some blood tests just to check all is OK in another month .
(that's me...she wasn't
about more bloodtests).
Glandular Fever results not back yet though it really doesn't change very much .
There was a Camel on the run in Bendigo yesterday (I think it made the National News?). I heard some funny stories from the past on the radio today ...an elephant running around the main Streets of Dunolly, A kangaroo found high up in a tree (thought to be put there by a 'big cat')...that big cat was later found to be some blokes who had had too much to drink ...poor kangaroo.
I've just had a read of the chuckle store ... some posts really are funny .If I sought fame I might think that I am a star going by my own posts added to the store .It must upset some people to make mistakes themselves and have them noted in the chuckle hall of fall.
I should be cooking tea...I've just discovered that we are out of bottle gas (more due soon) ...so it may just be pies and soup (not together) heated the microwave tonight .
Take Care and I hope that your night is a good one for you all ![]()

Hi Iza
I saw the camel walking the streets of Bendigo on last night's news
We've only had a goat here, it was grazing out the front of our place, I thought I was seeing things & it was gone by the time I went back for a second look.
It's a bit of joke i have with some neighbours in another street, because i rang them at dinnertime and asked them to look over their back fence to see if there was a goat there., they thought I was mad ![]()
sure enough there it was, a goat. Now they say they'll never doubt anything I say again ![]()
