Camel chased through the streets of Bendigo

A ROGUE camel has led its owner and police on a Benny Hill style chase through Bendigo.

The camel kicked it's way out of its pen about 2pm and charged its way to freedom with the gate still around its neck.

Police were bombarded with sightings of the camel, which appears to have made its way from around Holdsworth Rd, near Finn St, past the Bendigo Hospital, across rail tracks to the intersection of Hargreaves and Laurel St where it was captured and tied to a tree.

The camel's ordeal lasted about 20 minutes.

Hi Prim, I did wonder about that  too.. though as far as having all the info in one place ...the hospital didn't even forward the test results that they did to the hospital paed clinic .They had to chase those up while we were there ...so I'm more inclined to think that our GP's clininc may have more of the info together than the hospital does .

What a start to the morning.............I have already had a bit of a tiff with a plumber.........had to clean everything in my kitchen 2 foot above the ground thanks to a stray ct coming through the cat flap and peeing somewhere.

Not Happy Jan..............it is a horrible smell...............hubby assures me you can not smell it....that I have cleaned it...........but I just had to do it one more time.

I would be so embarrassed to get visitors and they could smell cat pee......................rotten cat.

that's the trouble with cat doors Flashie, the whole neighborhood might be coming in  I have a very funny story from a friend about a  night visitor they used to get.
