The reason why we both love the pace down there is...........for me I have fond memories of going fishing there with my father and brothers..........and for hubby it is he can see the lighthouse where his great grandfather was one of the last to be the lighthouse keeper there.

Flashie, I am starting to appreciate Tasmania a lot more since you have been providing us with all the history and photos. OH wants to holiday there so we will get there eventually ๐
I absolutely love fishing too so I know that even if you don't catch anything, it will be a wonderfully relaxing day. And just think, while you are off fishing your grandchildren with get a chance for some one on one Father's Day action with their dads ๐

Flashie I had a lighthouse keeper in my family too. Did you you ever go into the lighthouse?? Lots of steps and lots of insects but wasn't it fascinating?
