Round Table Revisited

And so Lord of the String said unto the peoples, "Go forth anew. Seek a land you can call your own."

The people saw it was good.

So, on the last day the people said their solemn goodbyes and began the long journey to the promised new land.

And so began the new land and its people were joyous!

Welcome, to the Return of the Round Table known as...

"Round Table Revisited" (RTR)

Re: Stringers

Echinacea works for me. I have a precious bottle from the 90s that works like magic... The new ones are too weak. Actually it's probably only placebo, but that's ok, as long as it works.

A good sleep is probably what you need...and chicken soup.

I had to cross muesli off my dinner list because I don't have enough milk.

I left my oven on all day and didn't remember until I saw the fire engine tearing past while I was at work.. I was hyperventilating until I got home to see the house still standing lol

Re: Stringers

Do you have a microwave Karen?  Those frozen salmon fillets only take about three minutes in the nuker.  Easy and almost as nice as baked.

Re: Stringers

No I chucked my microwave. Actually I only used it to reheat, I don't like anything cooked in a microwave.

I could grill the salmon in a few minutes... or grab a slice of banana cake in 30 seconds... decisions decisions lol

Cake wins!

Re: Stringers

Thanks Iza ๐Ÿ™‚

I don't have strepsils or any other such medication as I never get sick. I can just imagine OH's face if I requested chicken soup LOL.

Glad the fire engine was not headed for your home Karen. I have done that sort of hyperventilating since I nearly burnt down our new work building.

It was winter, I was using a fan heater. A Telecom guy outside cut through cables and we lost power. Our boss sent us home. It was a Friday.  When I came in on the Monday I could not work out why the heavy wooden door to my office was so warm as I unlocked and pushed on it.....until I opened the door and discovered I had forgotten to turn off the heater when we lost power.  It took about two winter days for the walls, books, folders, desk, etc.  to cool down ....whoopsie!!!  Now, I panic when I hear a fire engine too.

Re: Stringers

Good morning Stringers ๐Ÿ™‚

Prim that's a scary fire story, aren't you lucky it didn't burn! I had to smash my new smoke detector last night because it was going off, gee it's deafening. I'll have to try and fix it today, it's dangling by a wire lol

I have no plans today, except helping a friend find new Internet after kogan went out of business. I think I'll make it an anti procrastination day, to catch up on all those jobs I meant to complete already.

I hope your cold is better today, Prim.

Re: Stringers

Good morning Stringsters ๐Ÿ™‚

Karen, I know you got a new smoke detector and I know your ceilings are high but it seems to me that if you have to break it every time it goes off, you either need to stop cooking or find a you beaut one that has 'turn off' buttons so large they are easy to reach with a broom.

After an attempt to get help with Windows8, they sent a survey which I just finished . They wanted to know of my experience with using Windows 8. So I told them ๐Ÿ™‚

In my opinion, it is perfectly ridiculous that anyone should have to Google to find out how to move around once the computer is on or how to shut the computer down, and many have.

I also asked the age of the developers who think it is ok to change terminology we have all used for years to "clouds" and "skydriving" etc.

I know it won't make a difference but I feel better LOL

Have a great day everyone.
