RIGHT!!!! I see the problem lol lol
I don't feel so hateful towards ours now - it is tiny in comparison.
It is still on my 'to destroy' list though.
50 years? That would be an understatement lol. They seem almost indestructable ![]()
P.S. - love that you fly the flag!

It is so tall that I'm worried that it is a danger to the house. I imagine it will cost a lot of money to have it removed.
on โ24-10-2013 01:58 PM
I expect it would be expensive!
We had a quote when our tipuana tree was being pruned away from the power lines and they quoted $150 for just a little palm tree (in comparison to yours). I declined at the time, thinking we could get a friend to remove it but wish I had decided to go ahead with it back then lol
I have no idea how deep-rooted they are - certainly deeper than eucalypts I suspect - and I wanted the root ball removed too as I do not want to have to plant 'around' the remains lol

Well I'm glad to here that they are very deep rooted because my biggest concern is that the whole tree will come down. Surely it can't get much bigger.

Trouble is j*oono - I really have NO idea how deep rooted they are ![]()
Might be a good idea to at least get a quote for it's removal - that would be a start!
Fish-ferns rule - better get back to them lol
Catch up later
