Babysitting duties are done.

Public holiday here yesterday and student free day today.

Both days far too windy to do anything outside.

I think I can probably do the 100 piece Spiderman puzzle with my eyes closed.

And we still have another day to go with the wind...........typical show weather.

We are suppose to have teh fireworks for the show tonight...........I can't see how they can do it safely........I think they will be cancelled.

Hope the wind has died down a bit for you Flashie - cancellation is probably the best option for the fireworks given the recent fire events.  There will be a lot of little AND big kiddies disappointed though 

Deb - hope you enjoyed the peace and quiet of an empty house.  I am just home from work and I have the house to myself for a while (except for LL) who is flaked out at my feet having spent the day in the garden chasing all manner of things I bet lol.

Hectic in our town at the moment and will be for the next two weeks as the Freo Festival starts in earnest tonight.  Lots of interesting and arty displays, light shows and music ....... it's a happening place our Freo!!

I am kinda pleased to be home in the quiet for a while lol

I did enjoy it Laney, especially after all the stress of DD having a deadline to hand in a large assignment today

Those assignment deadlines impact not only on the one tasked with meeting the deadline but also ALL those around them don't they Deb!

I know mine did but I have not learned not to set them although sometimes they are not of my own doing lol

She is enjoying it Laney, but not that elective so much. Media and multiculturalism, too much research and cross referencing for her liking, I think she can drop that one next year. She likes the exams because she doesn't have to quote anyone else. exams start first week of Nov. here.

They ended up having the fireworks.........and we went up to the paddock to watch them............and they were all over in less than 10 minutes.............

Yay!!!!......the weekend is here..............and I have no plans.

My friend is coming around to try on here owl costume........... I will see if she will let me take a picture of her.

We are not sure if or what sort of wings to put on it yet..............as they need to carry the pea green boat over their shoulders we were not sure if wings were a good idea.............stay tuned.

Still I hope the kiddley-winks enjoyed seeing them.

We didn't have any plans for the weekend, other than going to a couple of Festival events but plans have suddenly changed lol

Someone has kindly dropped a deadline of theirs on me dammit
