Round Table Revisited

And so Lord of the String said unto the peoples, "Go forth anew. Seek a land you can call your own."

The people saw it was good.

So, on the last day the people said their solemn goodbyes and began the long journey to the promised new land.

And so began the new land and its people were joyous!

Welcome, to the Return of the Round Table known as...

"Round Table Revisited" (RTR)

Re: Round Table Revisited

Iza I. Glad you're feeling better. I've found an excellent way to take a break and revive the spirit is to shovel soil and spent time in the garden. I hope you accept my demand...oops offer....

Actually my soil is on its last legs. All the gardens are full, so now I'm replacing the soil in three large holes for trees, topsoil ing existing veggie gardens and then I'll throw the rest on the lawn.

Whew!

A woman walked past this morning and said I must be fit. Well, I wasn't...but I'm a bit fitter now. She said she'd been watching the mountain get smaller each day lol

She must've been a bit odd in the noggin, cos she then said she'd buy me a new house when she wins the lottery to reward me for all the work...wth... How strange lol

Re: Round Table Revisited

Good on you Karen.  It will be well worth the effort.

Baloo hasn't changed at all.  He is still a pain.  Iza, he wasn't that kind of naughty, he was just turning into a Houdini and it seems to happen every few months.  There must be a female around that is calling him.  Too bad so sad.

I'm glad I don't need to go and pay at the council again.  So slow!  You have to queue up twice too.  Once for them to renew the registration and then again so that you can pay for the registration.  Three people in the first queue that were ahead of me just left because they couldn't stand the waiting anymore.  It seems so strange that you had to get in another queue to pay.  Government departments.

Re: Round Table Revisited

That sounds like India, Joono. Buying a train ticket takes hours in several queues...then you get to share your seat with eleven other people lol

Ok you kitchen people, I need to know the name of a tool. I bought a plastic one on eBay china but it's plastic and cost a dollar (including postage lol) so it won't last long. You put food in and wind the handle, and it gets pulverised by a screw...then the mashed food comes out the other end. It's like the old meat mincer my mother used...but vertical...

What is it called?

Afternoon Stringers Smiley Happy

Is it called a 'mouli grater' Karen?

Just made a coffee reviver after a hectic but fun day.

Will now try and catch up with all your earlier posts.
