Round Table Revisited

And so Lord of the String said unto the peoples, "Go forth anew. Seek a land you can call your own."

The people saw it was good.

So, on the last day the people said their solemn goodbyes and began the long journey to the promised new land.

And so began the new land and its people were joyous!

Welcome, to the Return of the Round Table known as...

"Round Table Revisited" (RTR)

Re: Round Table Revisited

Oh...I see, this part.....I didn't reply to "it" to avoid being involved in any problem

"It", meaning the accusation.

That makes 2 things you accused me off...and wrong on both. I won't hold my breath for an apology...still haven't recieved one for the last one.

And the pic in question isn't even yours, so why are you complaining.....and trying to bring a problem to the other thread?

It says right in the OP.....

😎 NO BICKERING

We don't do dodgy IDs, Jimmeh. It's just one thing that sets us apart 😛

It's not about winning or losing a CS pic competition. Whoever wins, good on them. It's more about people being petty with their kudos because a stringer was winning...and the fact they never own their behaviour, and then carry on about it for hours. Petty, IMO, and it has wrecked a great pic thread. Hopefully next week's will be more fun.

If you look at the thread it was one of your own who brought it up on that thread. If anyone wanted to know....they could have asked me or PMed me.

Petty was bringing it up in the first place.

I voted as a saw fit, and not by the person posting it. I shouldn't have to explain why  I vote for who....or removal of my vote.

Like I said....if I was wrong I apologize. I see it doesn't matter anyway.

Congrats!Smiley Happy

Re: Round Table Revisited

Suspicion works both ways jimmeh!

Unfounded accusations have been made regarding the identities of those who left kudos but apparently rarely post. I have not bothered to check their past posts as you have - it simply does not interest me that much but there are a few 0 ids who only post 'snarky' posts and frequently.  Should lurkers and infrequent (if ever) posters not be permitted to award kudos?

On the other hand, those who removed votes have long been associated and that obviously raised suspicions about motives.

It is a great thread (thanks to Pimpy and most of the great contributors) but to refuse to post any more pics on there (on the basis of unfounded and incorrect assumptions) is childish and petulant and simply promotes the suspicion.

By the way, Stringers do not wear 'socks'

Re: Round Table Revisited

I do wear explorers During Winter, Laney.

There is the most fabulous Lou Reed special on Rage, OMG I love his music. Lou Reed, Iggy Pop and David Bowie are my all time favourites.

Loves his interview reactions, too. He's so droll 🙂 I bet the interviewers would get nervous.

Re: Round Table Revisited

You already said that in the photo thread and there was no reaction then. Do you think saying it again in here will make a difference?

Good morning Stringsters

It is very smokey in Sydney. It woke me up. I have closed all the windows to try to stop more smoke getting in as OH struggles with it. We may have to go to a shopping centre to get away from it.

Not much on the agenda today. I was going to garden but that is now not going to happen.

Have a good day everyone.

Re: Round Table Revisited

There was a huge burn off yesterday but very little wind so the smoke has settled over nearly all of Sydney. Yesterday was a major problem for asthmatics. Visability was down to 50M in some areas. There is great concern about the elderley and those with lung problems.
