Round Table Revisited

And so Lord of the String said unto the peoples, "Go forth anew. Seek a land you can call your own."

The people saw it was good.

So, on the last day the people said their solemn goodbyes and began the long journey to the promised new land.

And so began the new land and its people were joyous!

Welcome, to the Return of the Round Table known as...

"Round Table Revisited" (RTR)

Re: Round Table Revisited

Hi all 🙂

Hope everyone's having an OKish day.

I've gotten a few things done, but not everything I planned, now I feel like having a nap, was up way too late last night because I sort of got a 2nd wind after we went out for our walk. I love the warmer weather, it makes me feel really alive.

clever idea about the cotton reels Laney, I would never have thought of something like that & I am a person who has all the doors open here on a nice day. Most of our culprits have come down the chimney. Not long after we moved in here ,I came home to find a magpie flying around in our bedroom lol

Lunch break for me Deb and boy have I earned it lol

It really is a beautiful day to be outside so I won't be staying in for long - just enough time for a coffee and a cig lol.

I was quite pleased with my inventiveness with the cotton reels Deb - wonder if there will be a run on them now lol lol

Kettle whisting - music to my ears ......... bbl

Good that you could get a rest.

When I lived in Italy, I used to love those long breaks in the middle of the day to enjoy many a leisurely lunch with friends.  In the heat of the summer though, the lunches took second place and a midday siesta was the order of the day!  Somehow working into the early evening did not matter as dinners were always much later anyway.  The absolutely best time to eat in the cool of the evening.

Summer days here call for siestas too - aircon firing though lol

Work for me tomorrow and the weather is hotting up - 37 predicted for Sunday - woooohooo

Re: Round Table Revisited

Good evening Stringsters

It is very very hot here. I hope it cools a little before bed time.

I cannot nap through the day, I wake up feeling terrible. It is never worth it.

I have a day off tomorrow and not waking up to the alarm is a bonus.

I hope you have a great day tomorrow Laney.

Hoping for many happy returns tomorrow 🙂

Glad your daughter survived the exams Deb.

Flashie, we have been killing spiders in our house for the last few weeks. Big ones. And, OH said he killed a bee in the kitchen. He was feeling proud of himself until I reminded him it probably rode in on his back when he came home. Now he is double checking as he comes in.

Hi Prim Smiley Happy

Do you get that horrible fuzzy feeling when you wake up if you DO have an afternoon nap?

Re: Round Table Revisited

It is years and years since I have had a daytime nap because I never felt refreshed so I always avoided it.

Recently I had one and it was just as bad so I decided I will never have another LOL

Re: Round Table Revisited

I guess I adopted the practice after living in Italy for years Prim - it was a lifestyle thing Smiley Happy

Re: Round Table Revisited

I don't think I would like a very long day with a big break in the middle. I like to get in, get it done, and get home to the next phase of the day. I don't even have a lunch break so I can go home half hour earlier. LOL
