Round Table Revisited

And so Lord of the String said unto the peoples, "Go forth anew. Seek a land you can call your own."

The people saw it was good.

So, on the last day the people said their solemn goodbyes and began the long journey to the promised new land.

And so began the new land and its people were joyous!

Welcome, to the Return of the Round Table known as...

"Round Table Revisited" (RTR)

Re: Round Table Revisited

I could not do without my pc j*oono and a laptop would only be a back up if something went horribly wrong.

As far as portability that does not worry me - I prefer to keep my work stuff in our office and keep the rest of the house for 'living' lol

I have no desire to export techie stuff into the living areas lol

Re: Round Table Revisited

I only use my PC for real work now, it's good to be able to keep the toy (ipad) and work (PC) separate. The ipad is quite heavy so it's not completely easy lugging it around, but heaps easier than a laptop. I love how I can use the ipad anywhere.

The only thing I don't like is how lithium tech doesn't support iPads...it's ridiculous in 2013 IMO and goes against a lot of the rhetoric they spin on social media.

Re: Round Table Revisited

The Perth City Council is making their whole council area a wi-fi zone - the first in Australia I am led to believe.

Will be great for visitors - even thought there is going to be a one hour limit daily although non-techie me has no idea how they would limit it lol

Re: Round Table Revisited

It was a windy old day in the garden but I got a bit done. Now to prepare dinner which will be easy because we are having a cheese and crusty bread, crackers night (camembert, smoked salmon, nuts, salad and pate) with a little bit of red to wash it down. I guess we are lucky that we only have to feed ourselves and can eat what we like very now and then as we couldn't do it when the children were around and needed very healthy eating :).

Have a nice night everyone.

Hi Prim, OH had to work in Ballarat today. The company he works for is building a new building up there and he has to sort out their IT requirments, he's been having a few problems with it. Not sure when to expect him back, probably late tonight

The others here had fish and chips.................but I am not a huge take away fan so I had a bowl of baby veggies....................just cooked them in a pot and mashed them up................and put sweet chili sauce over the top.

I have sweet chilli sauce on just about everything...............I love it..

Re: Round Table Revisited

The boys are big fans of sweet chilli sauce too Flashie.  I don't think anyone has used tomato sauce in this house for years.

I'm just doing a stir-fry tonight and I'm going to try out a new dipping or stir fry sauce called OMG TRY THIS!  Smiley Very Happy

It says Thai style lemongrass soy sauce.  It actually says thai style because they used up all their capital letters.

Re: Round Table Revisited

I had calamari and chips from the cafe, but now I feel sick cos it was greasy.

My soil is magic, it grows its own tomatoes. Two random plants have popped up. I hope they don't make too much fruit because my mutant plants are growing bigger every day and have lots of tomatoes on them. I wish random cacao plants popped up instead of tomatoes, but life just doesn't work like that unfortunately. Bum.
