Round Table Revisited

And so Lord of the String said unto the peoples, "Go forth anew. Seek a land you can call your own."

The people saw it was good.

So, on the last day the people said their solemn goodbyes and began the long journey to the promised new land.

And so began the new land and its people were joyous!

Welcome, to the Return of the Round Table known as...

"Round Table Revisited" (RTR)

Re: Round Table Revisited

Maybe I should just give Maggie a roll of her own wrapping paper for Christmas.

We do not see much of her on Christmas Day.............she runs and hides from the grandchildren..........she has never had any tollerance for them.

We don;t give her anything for Christmas.............she is way past playing with stuff.............and because she is 16 I don't like to muck around with her diet..............(I am currently working on removing paper from her diet)

LOL That's funny.  You will have to teach me the trick and I can use it on Baloo.

Well, I have been dead naughty today.  I managed to find the Kitchen Warehouse.  OMG it's HUGE!!  It is a joy to behold and a kitchen lovers Bunnings.  I could have spent the day there.

I was there to have a look at replacing one of my Wusthof knives that I must have thrown in the bin.  I had forgotten that they were so expensive.

Anyway, I came home with the beginnings of a Scanpan Coppernox saucepan set because they are 50% off now.  I bought two of the smaller sized saucepans and will go back soon and add to the set.  I checked how long they would be 50% off and was told that this would be their normal price now and it wasn't a special as such so yipee!  I have been after a new set for a while because the handles and knobs keep falling off my old Arcosteels.

I didn't get the knife.

Re: Round Table Revisited

Does she actually eat the paper, Flashie? Lol she's got character 🙂

I'd love a good set of saucepans, Joono. Well, I have had them before but burnt rice is their enemy. I've got a set my mother received as a wedding present and longgggg time ago and they're brilliant.

Well, they would be, if a good cook used them.

She used to keep her expensive frying pan in the linen cupboard so my father would never find it and wreck it with steel wool...but my BIL found it...and wrecked it with steel wool.

Re: Round Table Revisited

I am not good with frying pans.  I have even gone through a few of the Scanpan ones.  I have got better at looking after them and not over heating them.

The lady did double check for me that I wasn't buying a soon to be discontinued set.  I'd hate that if I couldn't match them up.

Re: Round Table Revisited

Hello everyone.

Not sure if all this squabbling is about me coming to post on the boards, but I can honestly say,I was only a lurker here before.

I enjoyed reading threads,at times felt like posting, but never did until recently.

Wish I hadn't now Robot Sad

I was enjoying joining in,but prefer not to be the cause of any more angst between the "sides",so I will not be posting on here again until things calm down a bit.

Lion,I will buy something so as not to be a 0ID,but can't see how that will make any difference to what, or who, others believe I am.

And no,if you meant me,I am not sitting back laughing now.

I am quite stunned, that because I was new,I was treated as a "spy" by certain people.

Do some of you people ever make new friends in the real world,or does suspicion stop you from widening your inner circle?

Thank you to those who welcomed me with open arms, even though you knew nothing about me.

I hope to be back posting one day.

I will be posting this exact post on the GM thread too,so this is not aimed at anyone in particular.Robot Indifferent

Re: Round Table Revisited

Who are "certain people"?

Enjoy your time away again. Lol.

Stringers, what's for dinner? Last night I made Joono's fried rice and IT WORKED 😄 ... previously when I had tried making it, it turned into an inedible glug.. But Joono taught me the proper way. Tonight I'm having a sandwich with ham, mustard and lettuce. Let's all hope nothing goes wrong ... if I ever get around to making it lol

Re: Round Table Revisited

Good one Karen.  The trouble with fried rice is it takes so long to prepare all the bits.  I love it but I wish someone would clean up the kitchen when I've finished.

I'm having a night off which is annoying when I've got the new cookware.  At least I think I've got the night off.  One never can tell.
