Round Table Revisited

And so Lord of the String said unto the peoples, "Go forth anew. Seek a land you can call your own."

The people saw it was good.

So, on the last day the people said their solemn goodbyes and began the long journey to the promised new land.

And so began the new land and its people were joyous!

Welcome, to the Return of the Round Table known as...

"Round Table Revisited" (RTR)

Re: Round Table Revisited

Good morning everyone.  A beautiful day here yet again.

I hope the birthday cake turns out ok Flashie.  I think you should start up a birthday catering business.  You have had so much practice!

Not much happening.  I think Baloo and I may play with the vacuum cleaner.

Hi Stringers 🙂

Nothing much happening here...a bit of work...a bit of posting on political threads...and a bit more work.

Re: Round Table Revisited

it''s unbearable when they do they do that. Have you got extrememly hot weather, maybe the alarm should be put in a different spot?

Re: Round Table Revisited

It's in the right spot, according to the instructions. I think it goes off in humidity... and because it's an expensive new fangled thing (bought in the hope that it wouldn't misfire so often) it has an extra loud, ear shocking noise lol

And the ceilings are really high... I might have to find the ladder.

Re: Round Table Revisited

It is washing up time...............so I am hiding up here.

I figure I did my bit it cooking it all.

The birthday cake tasted OK..........which was surpiriseing.

Yesterday when I flattened the pavlova I must have somehow spilt something on the bottom of the oven.

So today when I put the birthday cake in the oven it all started smoking..............now it was the only cake mix I had...........and I had used the last of the eggs...........so making another one was out of the question.

So.....................I did the only thing possible to save the day..............I opened the oven while the cake was still in there and tried to scrub the bottom of it.

Now the only thing I could think of that would work quickly was the kitchen scrub brush.

So I quickly opened the oven.................quickly scrubbed the bottom........wiped it........and closed the oven again.

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm......the kitchen scrub brush was nylon.........and I melted all the bristles.

And.....................the oven was still smoking.

I got the pot mit out and quickly gave a scrub..........and wiped again..................and all was good.

Cake turned out great.........................but you will have to take my word for it..........because they ate it all.
