Round Table Revisited

And so Lord of the String said unto the peoples, "Go forth anew. Seek a land you can call your own."

The people saw it was good.

So, on the last day the people said their solemn goodbyes and began the long journey to the promised new land.

And so began the new land and its people were joyous!

Welcome, to the Return of the Round Table known as...

"Round Table Revisited" (RTR)

Re: Round Table Revisited

Good afternoon Stringers

Finished earlier than anticipated today and had an opportunity to have a wander around the traps.

Something Prim said yesterday came immediately to mind.

"Just because several people say one thing does not make it correct, it just makes it a manipulation by several people"

Wise words indeed but only wise ones would understand it ....... as we do.

Flashie - your decorations look magnificent.  Yours truly is a home filled with good Christmas spirit and I am sure others would love to emulate that ...... if only they could.

Magic day here in the wonderful west AGAIN.  Paradise personified in so many ways Smiley Happy

Re: Round Table Revisited

Well what is on everyones menu for tea tonight............we have roast pork.

Hubby has been wroking extra hard and I wanted to cook his favourites.

He is on holidays from work..........and his replacement has hurt their back.............so they called hubby in.

Am I the only one who thinks that is illogical.

I had an interesting conversation with the grandchildren this morning.

They are having their school concert next week...........and I did not want to get caught out at the last minute having to make three costumes.............(it has been knows to happen..........I had to make a kangaroo costume with about 3 hours notice).

Middle grandson said........he is fine............he just needs to wear a Christmas hat and t-shirt.

The other two grandchildren are in the same class...............one says they don;t need anything because they had their concert last week..............and the other one says she does not have to wear anything.

So........................next week should be interesting.

One is wearing a Christmas t-shirt and hat....................one wont be there because he did his last week.....(all on his own apparently).............and the other one appears to be going wearing ...."nothing"

Re: Round Table Revisited

Smiley LOL Flashie at least the third grandie will be easy to cater for Smiley Surprised

Don't they come out with the funniest things.

We have not given any thought to what is on our menu tonight - but it IS still early here ........ anything could happen lol

The thought of roast pork is making my mouth water but the weather dictates something in the salad repertoire I suspect (unless we decide to go out) lol

Good evening Stringsters

Hi Nics, a big Christmas hug to you (in case you don't get back here before the big day) 🙂

Iza.................. "in any case I'm sure that your OH is as excited about them as you are :womanlol:"...........I bet that was hard to type with your tongue firmly planted in your cheek LOL LOL

Flashie, I hope that whatever last minute costume you have to make is an easy one 🙂

Laney, a big THANK YOU.  It was just beautiful and much appreciated ... Where is Clair, I need to borrow a big red heart!! 🙂

Hi Stringers 🙂

Flashie I'm so glad I don't have kids or grandchildren who need costumes made, because I'd be a major fail lol

Thank you, Laney, it was luvverly and very thoughtful of you.

Re: Round Table Revisited

I am watching 56 Up. My goodness, Sue has blossomed from an extremely awkward, downtrodden young woman to someone who has a brilliant career she loves and is now doing drama and has a quite a nice singing voice. It is quite uplifting to see.

Re: Round Table Revisited

Not a programme I have watched Prim - is it a continuation of the 7-up series?

Sounds like an ugly ducking developing into a beautiful swan story. Smiley Happy
