Round Table Revisited

And so Lord of the String said unto the peoples, "Go forth anew. Seek a land you can call your own."

The people saw it was good.

So, on the last day the people said their solemn goodbyes and began the long journey to the promised new land.

And so began the new land and its people were joyous!

Welcome, to the Return of the Round Table known as...

"Round Table Revisited" (RTR)

Re: Round Table Revisited

Good morning Stringers ๐Ÿ™‚ Iza I agree with the ID comment.

It's a beautiful day here so I'll get back out into the garden shortly before it gets too hot.

My dad bought me a Swiss watch, it just arrived by courier...with a note that says I must wear it. That's because he bought me another Swiss watch a few years ago that is still in its box lol. Dammit, I'm not a Swiss watch person, it'll get wrecked when I'm digging in the garden...and I can barely read the dial. It's a really nice watch tho...but probably not for long lol

Re: Round Table Revisited

Hi Karen,

That's kind of your Dad. I haven't worn a watch myself for years and then only when not home really...as like you I find that things I wear around the house and yard get wrecked.Maybe your Dad's instructions means he wants you to wear it and he doesn't mind if it gets wrecked it ?

My Mum gave me one of her good dinner sets and said 'use it' ...

It only gets used at Christmas time and other special occassions as I'd like to keep all of it .

Re: Round Table Revisited

Iza he means "wear it and don't dare break it"... I hope it is waterproof and dirt proof, because it is already muddy ๐Ÿ˜„

Like you, I haven't worn a watch in years, but I'll try to get used to wearing this one.

Re: Round Table Revisited

Good morning Stringers Smiley Happy

In between swim and gym and going out to lunch with a friend from Uni, I have been doing a bit of a catch up around the traps.

You know - it would be quite funny if it was not so sad.  The obvious need for attention, for argument for the sake of arguing, the telling creation of attempted magna opera and the efforts to create discomfort by adopting peculiar ids ....... something is obviously missing in real life Smiley Surprised

...and THAT Stringers, is the limit of my Christmas spirit of goodwill.

After all - we have seen it all before and it is so transparent lol13_a.gif

Re: Round Table Revisited

Watch has mud on the band, Deb, and I haven't read the instructions yet to find out if it's waterproof so i can wash it. Oops I'd better phone my father to say thank you.

Laney, I was wondering about that, then I remembered it is locked away 14 hrs a day in a garage with pre-teen inspired technology, hiding from family. I was reading a report about prisoners who are held in solitary confinement and they develop false memories and weird hallucinations.

Re: Round Table Revisited

Good afternoon Stringsters

I went years without wearing a watch but eventually got back into the habit of putting one on. Now I miss it if I don't have one.

Laney, I totally agree!
