So, on the last day the people said their solemn goodbyes and began the long journey to the promised new land.

And so began the new land and its people were joyous!

Thanks She-ele, but it's really too big & heavy for us to manage now, I certainly can't do it on my own, so we decided we might look for a smaller one after .christmas at the sales.

I am going to do the same thing Deb.  Our tree is not as big as yours but I am going to downsize next year too or even this year if I see the perfect tree.

Over the years we've gradually downsized, till now ours is a tiny wooden one complete with little wooden ornaments that I bought in Germany while we were on our river cruise.

Hey I love the sound of yours, she ele. Perhaps when/if I upgrade from my 2 foot inflatable I can get a wooden one.

For now, I'm loving the inflatable. I especially love it after a few hours when it begins to deflate lol
