That sounds fun, Laney...I wish I could've gone to something like that instead of the Christmas party. Did you buy anything?

Several things Deb the last of which was when I had to go to a shopping mall this afternoon. Not my most favourite pastime and I don't think I took my Christmas cheer with me.

I was in BigW, no trolleys available so I was carrying around many items that I kept dropping so I went to the self serve area where there was a young employee watching the customers save the company money by doing their own checkout.

I politely said, "Excuse me, do you think you could pass me a plastic shopping bag as I have several items that I keep dropping".

He glared at me then sauntered over to where they have a stack of plastic trolleys with long pull up handles.

I have used one of those...once. After I had tripped up several people I vowed never to use one again.

So I asked him if I could just have a plastic bag instead. He grumbled to me 'we can't just give them away you know' and kept pulling out the trolley.

I pointed out to him that when I eventually went through the checkout the same goods would be put in a plastic bag anyway, so I wasn't wasting money or breaking rules, but he just glared at me. So I put down all the items in my arms and walked out. I was impulse buying so he saved me money LOL

We had a busy day today.

Our grandson had his birthday party..............it was a laser tag game.

There were 10 children and two adults............(both his Uncles)

They all has so much fun...............our eldest grandson was the best player..........he managed to out shoot even his Uncles.

Then we watched the toy run.

When we went into the party we had to park in the nearest car park............heaps of the streets were closed for the toy run.

Hubby was not used to the car park we went to...............and ask we drove in he patiently waited for teh boom gate to open..............................and it didn't.

I got the giggles up................I realised hubby had driven down the "out" ................but he hadn;t.

Our younest son was in the back ............back seat driving..........as only a teenager can do.

He kept say to his father..................OMG Dad!!!!!.............you do realise someone is sitting somewhere watching you do this on a security screen........and laughing their head off.

Hubby just calmly reversed the car and went in the right way.....................not much bothers hubby.

Lmao Flashie, teens are funny. Back in the olden days it was embarrassment about what parents wore and said...these days it's about security cams and tech stuff 🙂
