Good afternoon Stringsters....I had a Flashie Wednesday type day today. I am glad to be home. OH has taken pity on me and suggested we go out for dinner (it was his turn to cook).  I accepted. I should be shopping but dining will be much better.

Hi Stringers 🙂

- the power came back on after an hour

- I dug the weeds out of the street gutter and a passing woman told me I was doing a good job 😄

- the coffee shop people went home due to the power cur so I had to walk a long way to buy coffee

- tonight I am having Rosie's Pasta. No, not that Rosie, a friendly friend of mine. No, not that kind of friendly friend, an actual friendly friend. It has capsicum and chilli and herbs.

- I found a packet of smarties at the back of the fridge. That was pretty exciting!

- my salad garden bed is nearly ready to make salads. It has baby bok choy, Italian parsely, loose leaf lettuces red and green. It did have a few different types of capsicum but they died.

- I have a large green frog in my loo!

I had my first tomato off my plant this morning 🙂  I doesn't look like I will get a major crop, only 9 left but it tasted nice.  I would have liked to leave it there a day or two longer but Baloo was showing an interest.

I don't have any veggies.  Only herbs and they are still doing ok but this heat will probably finish them off.  

Cooked chook tonight.  I just don't feel like cooking which is unusual for me these days.

I grew about 12 coriander plants, Joono, but two bolted to seed....and there's a fat crested pigeon who snuggles in amongst the plants all day lol. She squashes the plants, but I don't have the heart to chase her away because she looks so blissful. I'd be blissful too, if I had a nap in a coriander field on a hot day.
