Round Table Revisited

And so Lord of the String said unto the peoples, "Go forth anew. Seek a land you can call your own."

The people saw it was good.

So, on the last day the people said their solemn goodbyes and began the long journey to the promised new land.

And so began the new land and its people were joyous!

Welcome, to the Return of the Round Table known as...

"Round Table Revisited" (RTR)

Re: Round Table Revisited

I meant to mention I ad a win today. As you know, I've been hunting for a free size maxi dress for my DILs Christmas present - walked the length and breadth of Bunbury but couldn't find what I wanted. This afternoon I had to drive out to Australind (about 12 k away) for my monthly massage. Afterwards I popped into the Australind Shopping Centre  - just on the offchance - and what did I find there.......
I couldn't believe my eyes, it was absolutely perfect. So now all my Christmas shopping is done and I am a  very happy little heffalump.

Re: Round Table Revisited

That was a lucky find, she ele...and well done on completing your Christmas shopping. I'll probably do mine on Christmas Eve, as usual. I have got a few bits and pieces, but I can't think of a main present for my son.

Re: Round Table Revisited

Thanks She_el and thanks Karen sort of Smiley Very Happy

Good for you Prim.  It's always good to have that job done.  I still haven't put the tree up.  I will probably do it tonight... maybe.

Karen, what a horrible feeling.  I once left a whole carton of Coke in the trolley.  Goodness knows how I missed that.

Re: Round Table Revisited

You must feel greatly relieved SheEle. I have only finished shopping for one so far.

I am going shopping with my daughter on Sunday and  you all know what that means to me 🙂

She is a bit of a bossy boots and wants to come and make sure the goodies I buy for Christmas day are only what is needed so I don't buy too much, as I usually do on the day. But, what is Christmas day without a nibbles board with lots of goodies???

Re: Round Table Revisited

It's terrible isn't it Prim.  I buy so much food just for one day and a lot of it isn't even opened.  I am determined to make everyone eat a fruit mince pie this year since I have bought them.

I hope you have a fun day with your daughter Smiley Happy

Re: Round Table Revisited

You'll have a fun shopping day, Prim. Sunday is a good day to go, I think. I hope lol.

Sneak to the shops by yourself on Monday and buy goodies for the platter 🙂

Re: Round Table Revisited

It's weird - I won't be home for Christmas this year and Mr Elephant will be doing the rounds of the kids, so I haven't had to buy any Christmas 'goodies.' I get back on 29th so I guess I'll do a spend-up then for New Year.

Re: Round Table Revisited

LOL Karen, I thought I might go tomorrow and get some before she can talk me out of it LOL

I usually deck the sideboard with fruit, nuts and lollies etc. Of course there are always a lot left over but its Christmas and they always eventually get eaten.
