Round Table Revisited

And so Lord of the String said unto the peoples, "Go forth anew. Seek a land you can call your own."

The people saw it was good.

So, on the last day the people said their solemn goodbyes and began the long journey to the promised new land.

And so began the new land and its people were joyous!

Welcome, to the Return of the Round Table known as...

"Round Table Revisited" (RTR)

Re: Round Table Revisited

Hi,

I wanted to ask Flashie a couple of questions about Tassie if that's ok. Didn't know where else to put it...

Tasmania is on my must do list (we were looking to buy land/house there but ended up back in Qld).

Roughly how long would it take to see a good amount of Tassie, where are the best areas (love the 'oldness' of it, not shopping centres or anything like that), would about a week do for starters or am I way out..I guess I know we really need longer but...

Hubby's brother is getting married in Victoria next year and I was thinking it would be great to add on to the trip and go over on the ferry (if that's what it's called).  Would it be better to take a car on it,  could probably borrow MIL's car rather than hire one over there..I am busting to go there!!

Sorry about the questions Flashie.

Also, haven't been on discussion boards for a couple of years but you helped me so much on the ancestors thread back then, I really appreciated that.

Got back into contact with an Aunt that I hadn't seen or spoken to in nearly 30 years.. She's in her late 70's now and emailed me, (lives in England). Good stuff.

Thanks Smiley Happy

Good afternoon Stringers Smiley Happy

Getting humid here now so decided the big wide world can stay OUT there now and I repaired back to the airconditioning lol

Tende, Wednesday is Flashie's busiest work day so she may not be able to reply to your questions until later tonight.  Did not want you to think she was ignoring your questions lol

Have loved your pics on Pimpy's threads - look forward to seeing more of them.

Edited to say I have just opened the funniest/loveliest Christmas card which the postie just delivered.  Looks like a sneaky photographer snapped us together lol lol lol

Mtnlane

Thank you..

There is no rush at all for Flashie to reply, just thought I'd ask while I remembered...lol

I won't get back on myself until the morning anyway.

So I won't be ignoring her either if she replies tonight..LOL

Smiley LOL

Re: Round Table Revisited

Hi all-:)

Tende, what Laney said, she's not usually here on Wednesday 's but she may be in later tonight. I'll be interested to hear about it too.

We've been to Tassie a few times, but haven't been on the ferry yet, I would like to do that sometime and take the car. In the past we've flown and hired a car over there, it's a pretty place, well worth taking a good look around. From memory I think it takes about a day to drive from Launceston to Hobart, but Flashie can fill us in.

Re: Round Table Revisited

Good afternoon Stringsters

Laney, as soon as I saw it I recognised us LOL LOL LOL

Tende, Flashie helped me with my search. It was amazing what she found. She is a very clever lady.

One more work day to go but today when issues rose which could not be attended to immediately I found myself saying 'just email me at home'.  I must stop saying that!!!

I have to do a bit of cooking tonight as we are having our Christmas lunch tomorrow.  I had best get at it.
