Buzz...........my first MIL was here today for lunch..........she is 82........and her mobile phone rang.
Our eldest daughter said......"Nan do you have your mobile phone on you?.....I think it is ringing"
So MIL proceeds to rumage through her handbag................(and the phone is still ringing)
MIL finds the phone.............puts it to her ear................(and the phone is still ringing)
Our daughters and I try not to giggle.
MIL says to our daughter.........."I think there is something wrong with the phone..........it wont let me answer it."........(and the phone is still ringing"
Our daughters say......"Nan.............you have to answer it.............push the button"
"Oh....says Nan...........I thought you did that when you got a message"..........(and the phone is still ringing)
She finally figures out how to answer it............it was her daughter............and I am taking a guess it is not the first time they have had to let it ring and ring and ring until she remembers what to do................(was that a glimpse of my future.....
)
We had another cricket game..............not as enthusiastic as yesterday............I think everyone is runnig out of puff............and a bit overloaded on "GOOD" food.
Mind you..............todays game was more authentic than yesterdays match...........we had seagulls on the pitch.....(someone told them there was a BBQ here).
And we had a streaker...............a gorgeous two year old running through the middle of the game yelling.......My outfit is wet......my outfit is wet...............and stripped down to her bare bum.
Then we sat down at the table in the gazebo and played this new game our eldest son was given...........it is like Trivial Pursuit..........but about TV shows and Movies.
Our middle grandson snuck off for a bit and we wondered what he was up to............and he came out dressed up as Optimus Prime.
Here he is...........(I thought I had best not show you the picture of our grand daughter doing the nudie run.....even if she does look cute)

I am not sure how long they will live there............she has already rang her father in a panic because she saw a snake.
But they put those solar snake repel thingie (that is the obvious correct technical term) on their Christmas list.
So we will wait and see.
