Round Table Revisited

And so Lord of the String said unto the peoples, "Go forth anew. Seek a land you can call your own."

The people saw it was good.

So, on the last day the people said their solemn goodbyes and began the long journey to the promised new land.

And so began the new land and its people were joyous!

Welcome, to the Return of the Round Table known as...

"Round Table Revisited" (RTR)

Re: Round Table Revisited

Oops sorry...blush smiley...it was excitement of the salad ๐Ÿ˜„

You know when you're camping and you have to catch a fish for dinner, otherwise be forced to eat baked beans....and you fish all day in the hot sun, catching nothing....then finally! you catch a fish! ...but then have trouble lighting the fire and you realise you've forgotten the BBQ plate and tongs....eventually, way after dark, you get to cook the fish and eat it. That fish will taste better than any other fish in the world.

Ok I know you don't like camping, so you'll have to imagine all that lol

That's why I liked the salad ๐Ÿ™‚

Re: Round Table Revisited

I'm quick replying, because there are heaps of posts I ignored due to salad enthusiasm ๐Ÿ˜„

Flashie that butcher plans sounds like a great idea. Is it through a private butcher, or can anyone do it?

About the pruning...my dad is the worst. He chops everything right back, then starts on the neighbour's garden...so embarrassing when the neighbour is hopping up n down next to him, trying to politely explain that her trees don't need pruning,,,and he just smiles and keeps chopping lmao

Laney I'm not planning n getting a whipper snipper...I did want one, but then I realised it'll just create more work. What I want is a manual lawn edger...one of those things with a sharp wheel on the end.

Laney I only blush when I stuff up lol. I wonder if that will bleeperate...

Re: Round Table Revisited

I got OH an electric edger. He still has not turned it on. A few years ago I got him the one you are describing Karen but they are only useful if you don't have too many edges. They are really hard work unless you use them every week so there is little to trim thus little resistance, otherwise they are a heart attack waiting to happen.

Gosh, I have not seen those around for years Karen - they were fantastic until they got blunt and then they were like one of those infernal exercise contraptions - only good for toning your abs or whatever those muscles are lol lol

Re: Round Table Revisited

We have one of those manual edgers with the little wheel OH loves it, he's always trimming the edges lol

I just remembered that I bought a hedge trimmer a while ago & we've never used it, must remember to try that out while OH is home, I'm not game to try it on my own, in case it takes off by itself or anything lol

Re: Round Table Revisited

Yeah Prim - that too Smiley LOL

Did he like your gift Prim?  Had forgotten to ask you - wasn't that the instrument of torture you had your feet on when he said to you 'if you are thinking of getting one of those things - I don't want one'?
