oh Laney, my Aunt's Cousin's sister's friend ,a man who specialises in such things

told me that they are everywhere .It can't be possible that you haven't seen them  for years

Prim, I owned one before but the wheel got bent from using it to open a can of paint lol, so I chucked it out. It was easy to use, but I don't do garden edges...just along the footpath and gutter.

Prim did you buy one of those ones with the blade that cuts deep into the soil? They do a great job. I'd be cringing in case I hit the cement 🙂

To be honest Iza - I had forgotten all about them until Karen mentioned them and I have not actually been looking for them either 

I recall my Grandfather using one and that was probably the last time I thought of them lol lol

My Mum actually like  to use one ....sometimes in her bikini ...how embarrassing lol

Laney I have been trimming my box hedges with sheers, very time consuming,have never used an electric hedge trimmer before

OMG Deb - an electric one?  Arrrrgh - I hate those things with cords trailing behind!

We tried a Flymo mower years ago - used to give me the willies - I was always concerned someone would run over the cord and ZAP!!!!!!

Yeah it's a bit scary Laney so I'll get OH to try it out. & I'll watch. Luckily we have an outdoor power point near the hedge lol
