Round Table Revisited

And so Lord of the String said unto the peoples, "Go forth anew. Seek a land you can call your own."

The people saw it was good.

So, on the last day the people said their solemn goodbyes and began the long journey to the promised new land.

And so began the new land and its people were joyous!

Welcome, to the Return of the Round Table known as...

"Round Table Revisited" (RTR)

Re: Round Table Revisited

That is fantastic news Prim - funny how quickly issues are 'resolved' when the decision makers have to handle them in your absence rather than shovel them into your office!

I am really pleased for you Smiley Happy

Re: Round Table Revisited

Hi everyone.  Going back to work was not so bad then Prim.  It's good news that they can now recognise the problem.  I bet they don't ever let you book leave again 😄

Not much happening today.  I finally got around to sealing the boys shower with silicone.  I dug all the old stuff out over a week ago and left it to make sure it was thoroughly dry.

Seriously, I think I got the silicone everywhere except where it was supposed to go.  Clothes, walls, hair doh!  I think I have it sealed now but do you know whether I can give it another "coat" tomorrow or is it a one chance only type of thing.  If the floor starts swelling again I will have to call a professional but I thought I would try it.

Re: Round Table Revisited

Hi j*oono - bet you would have preferred chocolate in your hair (like another time) rather than silicone lol

Cannot offer you any advice at all sorry Smiley Sad

At least you had a go - hopefully it WILL work and you will not have to call out a professional lol

Re: Round Table Revisited

I am so disappointed with a lot of the workmanship in our house.  I don't think it is even 10 years old yet and so many problems.

I wish I had my century old cottage back.

Re: Round Table Revisited

Very different standards in the old days j*oono.

The workmanship today leaves a lot to be desired.  Was your builder one of the large ones over here (you don't have to name them).

Re: Round Table Revisited

A few months ago I realised that I had misplaced my ipod............and a  brooch that was my mothers.

For the life of me I could not remember where I had put eitherof them............the brooch I had not seen since I wore it to a wedding last March.

On the weekend I had to go searching through all my boxes of photos to find some pictures of someone I was doing something special for.............and in the bottom of this decorative wooden box under all these old pictures I found my ipod.

Now I was thrilled that I found it...................but it has been bugging me since..................what on earth was I thinking when I put it in there..........and I can not remember putting it there.

Then today I had reason to delve into the bottom back corner of the wardrobe to find a pair of dress shoes..........and as I did I have somehow knocks the computer off the computer desk................and out fell Mum's brooch.

Re: Round Table Revisited

I probably shouldn't name them but it was a company that I thought had a very good reputation.  You might find them on the Webb.
