Morning everyone.  It is such a quiet morning.  I am used to waking up with the Easterlies blowing a gale but today it's lovely.

It IS a beautiful day here today j*oono!  Just delivered LL to the beauty parlour - could have kept driving into the hills but I have things to attend to at home before next week so curbed my desire.  Do you ever get that feeling - just to get out on the road and drive and drive?  I suspect it is the thought of not being able to due to other work commitments that exacerbates the feeling lol

I was just reading about the cost of coffees here in the West!  Folks must be buying them at the wrong places - we have some fantastic ..... really fantastic coffee outlets here in Freo where great quality takeaway coffee costs around $3.80.  They should try them some time - Blink, Chalky's, Moore & Moore and many others but perhaps the prices they were quoting were for in-store coffees as opposed to take-aways.  Forget the Cappuchino Strip places and the attendant bus fumes - seek out the little places which have far more charm and reasonable prices lol

Anyway - enough of my musings - back to the jobs at hand.  Catch up tonight ..... have a good day Stringers

I find it really funny when I see posters speaking without authority on behalf of all of the people in a nation.  Diversity and individual thought is obviously not acceptable to some

Sounds like the WA police have had a field day with their recently introduced unmarked motorcycles used to catch people using their hand-held mobile phones whilst driving.  More than 1300 infringement notices have been issued in the first month of operation!

I have heard of some hair-raising situations where they have been caught!

They are talking of making these offenses qualify for double demerits during the periods the double demerits apply.  In my opinion, double demerits for these offences should apply 365 days of the year.  Hard-line? Perhaps but given the distraction they create, I have no problem in them cracking down on them every day of the year.
