*yawns*.......................that was a long sleep in.

We have had a few warmish days here.....................and the ants are loving it..........................there are squillions of the rotten little things everywhere..............and they bite.

I think am winning the battle....................I have a spotlessly clean pantry now..................I had to rub 30 day surface spray on a cloth and rub it all over the shelves.

I heard that citronella oil was great for getting rid of ants and your post about ants reminded me to look it up.  There appear to be some health concerns about using it .... so have crossed it off my list.

Deb I hope it is a bit cooler for you tonight and that the airconditioner you mentioned works its magic for you.

I have a couple of really long work days ahead of me with this new project.  Thought I better mention it in case you thought I had unravelled

not much sleep was had here last night

I think it might be gong to rain here.........................I have forgotten what rain looks like.

We only have to day and tomorrow left of school holidays...........they kind of went quick.

Now I have an important decision to make.................3 months os ironing............or 3 months ofpaper work.........*groans*

Nice and cool atm with a lovely southerly breeze.....but it isn`t going to last:-(Just an update, for peace of mind for Volvo & moi they are going to fully replace the whole steering system ....the parts have to come from Sweden so my red bullet won`t be home for 10+ days..most of all I`m happy that I have wheels but I  gotta go tomorrow to the dealership to unload my market stuff from the boot and reloaded it into this black car`s boot!!

Isn't it nice and cool ATM Nic. I 'm hoping to get some sleep now.

They've gotta make sure the car is safe, so it'll be worth the wait. It's good that they're doing it properly & that you can use the black one till it's ready. If I were you, I'd be doing that unloading & reloading while the weather's a bit cooler.

Hi everyone.  I'm really glad they are taking the problem so seriously Nics.  I wonder if anyone else has had that problem?  If they have then they would have to do a recall wouldn't they.

It's warming up here again and unfortunately it is quite windy today and we have another serious bushfire going on again.  Not too close to me but houses are in danger in Banjup and people have been told to leave their premises.

Laney will be busy for a while with her work it seems.  I can see huge billows of smoke still happening but the DFES website hasn't updated for a while.

Do you all remember ages ago I asked did anyone know what these plants were that I have growing in my garden?.....................but at the time I did not have any pictures.

Well I tooksome tonight............any ideas anyone.

The come up in about October...........and die off again in March.............after they flower the scatter little black ball seeds everywhere.................and they do not flower in the sun.........only in the evening or when it is shaded.
