Good morning Stringsters.
Flashie, I always wonder if the John E type readings have an adverse affect on peoples' lives. It is a huge responsibility to give out that type of information. I hope you got some fun out of it ๐
It is going to be extremely hot here today so I am going to try to get my major chores done early.
Have a great day everyone

Flashie, now you're going to have to make another batch of sausage rolls

Morning everyone. Feeling a bit washed out today. We have some nesting birds outside my bedroom window still and they are my 3am alarm clock this week. What with them carrying on and Fishbait mewling outside my door I'm cranky!
The pink and greys don't start carrying on until a little bit later. They have taken up residence in the giant gum outside my room. Oh the joys of living almost semi rural.
At least it's Friday and it's the last of a five day step challenge. I'm coming last.

Joono...........the squarking but me a part of the aging process............I remember both Tilly and Lucy did it.................Tilly would go for hours.............(I was starting to have evil thoughts about her if she did not stop it)
My tenants are finally back in their house........................5 months...........gee the insurnace process is a slow one.
I can not believe hubby is half way through his holidays already............I seems I wait for ages and ages for this time of the year and then I blink and it is over for another year.
Anyone have any plans for the weekend................I am hoping to do nothing much.
Hubby and his sister are going to go golfing on Sunday..............I think one of our boys is going..............the other one has sworn off golf for life............(last time he played he ended up having emergency surgery)
Veggie slice and salad for tea here...............hubby is having chops with his............he hates my veggies slice...........(all the more for me...........
)

Thank goodness their house is ready for them!
I remember the golfing accident. Poor thing ๐
Flashie, I have really grown to love our dear old Fishbait but I've been having a quiet word with her big brother style.
Fishy... It's time to go.

How well do you get on with your vet............could you have a talk.
It is so hard to make that decision.
Looking back I think I left it longer than I should have with Tilly................I hope my not being able to say goodbye to her did not cause her any pain.

Our vet is great Flashie but I haven't taken her there yet. She's doing alright really but it's just a case of keeping things out of her way and making sure she has easy access to her food and the places she likes to sleep and checking the pool when she disappears when you don't expect her too.
Her walking has slowed down but her weight has gone up lately because she is spoilt. She can't jump and pounce. She likes a cuddle! Something she never did as a young cat.
Baloo is amazing with her and so gentle. He will miss her when she goes.

Good morning Stringsters
Joono, I am sure you will know when the time is right. The only thing I would ask the vet would be if the recent mewing is just a sign of dementia or an indication there might be pain.
Cooler here this morning but it may get extremely hot again this afternoon.
More bushfires in our Blue Mountains area but I am not sure if they are near your relatives Laney. I hope everyone is safe
Have a good day everyone

Sorry to read about the poor acoustics at the JE show Flashie - when you pay top dollar for tickets (or even when you don't) surely the promoters have an obligation to ensure that sort of thing does not impact negatively on the audience.
j*ooono, the mewling could well be dementia. Our 'Poppy' suffered from that and I suspect it was more distressing for us than it was for her.
Prim those fires are further down the 'hill' from my kin but it does not bode well for the summer ahead given it is the second one in as many weeks - the other one was in Katoomba - right on the edge of the Jamieson Valley
Magic morning here today but a surprisingly chilly breeze blowing. It has been really windy here the past few days but it is not unusual for spring weather - at least it is fine and sunny.
Brekkie at our favourite spot this morning Prim - yesterday there was a seal lolling around in the shallows there ![]()
Catch up later in the day folks - enjoy yours!
