Round Table Revisited

And so Lord of the String said unto the peoples, "Go forth anew. Seek a land you can call your own."

The people saw it was good.

So, on the last day the people said their solemn goodbyes and began the long journey to the promised new land.

And so began the new land and its people were joyous!

Welcome, to the Return of the Round Table known as...

Round Table Revisited

Good morning Stringsters

Corduroy? The last time I saw someone wearing corduroy was in a very funny Seinfeld episode and that was a long time ago.

I hope you get the car issues sorted soon Joono, on occasions car sharing can be very inconvenient.

Have a great day everyone

Morning Stringers Smiley Happy

Wonder how Flashie's evening went

Was awoken at 5am this morning - LL was unsettled and decided she need us up and 'doing' with her!  Not the ideal time to start the day and it is going to be a long one - perhaps that accounts for my short temper today

Better get out of here for my own sake lol

Well I was home by 9.15 last night.

I am glad I went............but I would not bother again.

I was disappointed...................we paid a lot of money for near front row tickets...........and we could barely see a thing.

The echo from the speakers meant we were hearing him and then again 1 second later..........and I missed about 40% of what he said.

He is very good with his showmanship.............and has a beautiful speaking voice.

But half of the 2 hours were taken up with his talking about himself.

There was no intermission (well of course not......he was only there 2 hours).........so we could not buy a drink like we thought.

They were kind of read in groups.................maybe four or five groups.

One person was read and that lead into the person next to them being read.

None of us.................I don't think any one in our section where we were seated got read.

And the place was only half full............no one in the nose bleed sections.......except right in front of the stage.

Not sure if that was planned or not.........maybe he prefers a smaller group.

I was not disappointed in not getting a reading............I had no expectations of one.............I just though he would do more than the few he did.

I heard a few people grumbling on the way out............so I was not the only one feeling a bit let down.

And.................our grandson was babysat by our two sons............and two of their friends...........and they ate me out of house and home...................all sausage rolls............. all the cold meat and stuff...................geez they can eat.

That's such a shame Flashie.  One thing that they should have done was to make sure they had the acoustics right.  There is no excuse for that.
