It is predicted to be 39 today so it will be aircon on and LL indoors for the day as she does not cope with the heat and we will both be out all day.

Morning everyone.

Prim, I don't know a lot of people here that use a real tree.  Mine just goes back in the box each year. I remember when I lived in Melbourne for a while we had a real tree as most people did there.

Your lunch party sounds like one not to miss.  Sadly I will! The bus wouldn't get me there on time 😄

I have had a last minute gift idea for the boys so I will do that today. As I said, I've struggled with ideas for them again this year. I think I need grandkids.

The microphone that turns your voice into an elf's voice was a good idea at 7.30 this morning..............................not so sure about that decision 4+1/2 hours later.......................

I love the smell of a real Christmas Tree.............I have not seen them for sale here anywhere this year.

I love shopping for the grandchildren Joono...............there is so much I could buy ...........but the girls set me a budget per child............and I am not suppose to go over it.

The boys I find harder to buy for............they are both working full time and still living at home...........there is not much they want that they have not already bought themselves.

Last year one son wanted a pet rabbit.............so I bought him one............apparently he did not mean a battery operated one................oopsie..........

He forgets that for two years I was the one who cleaned the cage of the two rats he wanted................nope........not again..............he can wait until he leaves home and then he can choose any pet he wants.

I have been thinking today was Thursday all day..............not sure why..............but yesterday I thought it was Friday because it was the last day of school..............so I guess it all evens out.

Hubby and I went to his work do last night..............we had the night off from our diets..............I was really looking forward to having a dessert...........................it was horrible...........I was disappointed.

It tasted like strawberries and cream cheese............not even sweet................................(but my waist line says thanks)

39 yesterday and not a breath of wind in the morning!  Once the 'doctor' came in it was a bit better but came home exhausted so had an early night.

Not much planned today - a visit to the library to collect some books - to the supermarket to pick up some supplies and then home for the day in the comfort of the aircon.  Strange - thunderstorms were predicted here but no sign of them where we are.
