Round Table Revisited

And so Lord of the String said unto the peoples, "Go forth anew. Seek a land you can call your own."

The people saw it was good.

So, on the last day the people said their solemn goodbyes and began the long journey to the promised new land.

And so began the new land and its people were joyous!

Welcome, to the Return of the Round Table known as...

Round Table Revisited

Our son is out the front  mowing the lawns............I kind of like it when he does it.............it means one less job for me to do....................but he does not do it as neat as I do.

I went to a Linen party this morning................I was not going to buy anything, but a black doona cover took my eye.............it looks like it has a lace overlay..............I will put it away for my Mother's Day present so I don't feel so guilt for spending so much on it.

Hi Deb

I do not find the vets really that expensive given the training they have to undertake and the fact they are dealing with so many different

animals, few of whom can tell them where they hurt Smiley Frustrated -

IMO it's the profiteering pharmaceutical companies who charge for their products like wounded bulls.

Apart from a truckful of new medications, we now have a new dietry regime for madam - dried food with no gluten in it and no meat or chicken - just duck and kangaroo meat.  To supplement that, fresh kangaroo meat from the butcher as it does not contain chemicals that are in the pet food varieties!

No j*oono it's not my birthday today.   Prim sent me a parcel containing champagne and cake since I could not make it to Sydney to celebrate her BIG birthday.  So will celebrate 'in absentia' with her tonight.

Her birthday card from me is still sitting on the dining room table here (ashamed to say).  No matter - it will still apply next year lol

Spoke to her earlier today - she and all her kin are in good spirits

j*oono you tried those 'stand and tuff' tacos recently didn't you?

How did you find them?  Have decided to go for the easy meal tonight so tacos it is as doubt I will feel like cooking much.

We were going to a soiree this evening to celebrate the arrival of a book from the publishers - one I have been involved with - but it has not yet arrived from Melbourne so a slight change of plans and a complete lack of desire to cook.

Laney you're right, the vets have to go through many more years of study than doctors to get their qualifications

tha ks for letting us know that Prim is OK, she is missed around here

Laney, those stand and stuff ones that look like little boats are good.  they are soft, not crunchy and they are easy to fill.  Not messy at all like the other ones.  You'll find them with all the other taco stuff in the supermarket.  It's a clear pack in a cardboard sleeve.

The big one!  I'm really glad you were able to catch up.
