Anyeone in here experience a burst blood vessel in their eye? This is the 3rd time the same eye has had a burst blood vessel, this time nearly the complete eye is red..I went to the optomotrist(sp?) 3 weeks ago and had my eyes fully checked the eye & both eyes are okay no nasties anywhere but again today whilst I was out and about garage sailing it happened again...have had a slight ache around the eye all day and the eye feels "wet" and looks awful...maybe a visit to the doctor is needed, vision is okay..

morning everyone ๐
Nic, I've never had anything like that so there's not much I can say. It sounds awful, there must be a reason it keeps happening, I think you should go to the doctor and ask them why, in case it's got anything to do with blood pressure

Morning everyone. Brunch is done and dusted and lamb shanks are in the slow cooker.
Nics, You should see a doctor. If it was just bloodshot then that's one thing but if it's aching and uncomfortable then I'd want to know what that's all about.
Laney won't be in for a while. She's watching the Dockers against your team Nics ๐

Good afternoon Stringers ![]()
You were spot on j*oono. Had to wait until the finish before I dashed into the office to collect some paperwork.
YAAAAAAAY DOCKERS!!!!
Those taco boats are terrific j*oono - don't end up with most of the filling on the plates lol
Nics, please go and see your doctor without delay - you cannot afford to muck around with your eyesight or anything related to it. It is of particular importance given the pain you are experiencing around it. Will look in tomorrow and see whether you have been .... if not, prepare yourself for some nagging!

I think we need to get out a bit more lol
Has anyone else seen that recent Bega cheese ad?
Heartwarming and seems so very natural
When an ad on TV catches our attention it is definately time to turn it off.
For anyone who has not seen it, decided to post the link so you too can get addicted lol lol

I really like that ad too Laney.
There is one ad that really disturbs me still even though I have seen it a hundred times and that's the one for St John's Ambulance first aid courses where the mother tries to jump in the pool to save her son and can't help him. It gives me the shivers.
I still haven't done that course though.

Oh yes j*oono - that ad has the same effect on me ...... it really is confronting. It seems to have come up on high rotation the past few days too.
I did the course as part of my RFS training years ago but it really does need updating. I heard last evening that there is a song that is recommended you follow the beat of when performing CPR but I cannot for the life of me remember what it was .... senior moment I suspect!

I wondered who won the footy. All I know is that the Tiigers didn't have a great day yesterday.
....and now you know Deb lol
I heard about the Tigers results but honestly it is only the NAB cup and so early in the season you just have to shrug it off .... same with the Cats
