A hectic few days is now behind me - feet up, coffee on desk, sun streaming through the windows ..... can it get any better than this?
Was just reading that thread on the Woolies campaign. I was appalled when I saw what had been done to it - glad they have been ordered to take it down. Social media seems so antisocial sometimes!
Lovely wardrobe Flashie. I know you have had your eye on one for a while. Is that the one?
Love the bowl Deb. Never heard that name either but reminded me that my folks had a bowl similar to that. I used to love feeling the underside of it and tracing the outlines of the fruit in the pattern ... think it is in possession of my sister now 
Just scrolled back to see if Nics had been to see about her eye and whether you ladies have been keeping up the nagging.
Could not see whether she had been yet - maybe MY eyes need testing too 
Also was looking for a 'quit' report from Flashie about her OH.
Not going to spend time on here today as I have the start of a migraine aura. Think it was bought on by stress but going to see doctor on Monday.

Hubby is still off the smokes................and mostly back to normal..............not much grumpiness now.
As a reward for giving up I have planned a "boys day out" go-carting...............for hubby and both our sons........and sons-in-law.
Laney..............the wardrobe is not the one I wanted..............but I am happy with this one...........I could not justify the $2500 for the one I wanted.
Deb.............it is too light in colour to be blackwood.............not sure what wood it is................it is made by Gullachsen and sons...............so definitely English antique................we pick it up tomorrow morning.
I went and got the paint for the bedroom today.................hopefully we get it finished over the weekend.
Our son is a bit worried that my mind will not be on cooking for his birthday celebration....................
Laney, yes the undersides of those bowls are amazing, though your sister has it, at least it's still in the family. Hope you didn't end up with a migraine.

I decided to change our internet plan today............so I rang up............and waited and waited and waited..............then this announcement comes on that says there is a 10 minute wait and if I wanted to they could call me back when it was my turn.
I thought I could start getting tea ready while I waited.
I walked out to the kitchen...........and the phone rang.............yep it was them returning my call in about 60 seconds................................
And then they put me on hold for 20 minutes.......................................good grief.
